I personally think the following few are a good bets.
Adriano +1000 - If Brazil go to the final, I am sure Adriano is going to lead the way. I like Adriano to score over Ronaldo personally.
Luca Toni +1400 - If Italy get to the final, Toni will have 6 or 7 goals no doubt. He can score in bunches and has been on great form for the past two years.
Frank Lampard +6000 - Can he do it for England. I actually like him to lead England over Rooney and Owen.

Based on those odds, I would personally put money on Torres or Makaay.

Looking through the list of players it surprises me that "Magic" Zurawski (Poland) is not on the list while Ebi Smolarek is. So that may be a good longshot bet.
Magic has scored 18 goals in only 22 starts for Celtic this season due to injury and is on really on form right now. He was also the 4th top scrorer with 7 goals in the World Cup qualyfying rounds in Europe. I realise the Smolarek has been scoring a whole bunch in the Bundesliga, but Magic is the first option striker for the Polish squad, and rightly so, he is class.
With Costa Rica and Ecuador in the group stages, you never know, he could surprise with a great world cup.
I guess its something to think about......;)

Zuraw has scored some easy goals against inferior opposition in the Scottish League. Same thing happened to Larsson when he was at Cetlic -- he scored goals by the bunches, but nowadays he cant crack the Barca starting 11. I wouldnt ignore Zuraw, but the Bundesliga is a much tougher challenge than the Scottish league. Plus Zuraw is becoming more of set-up man for Frankowski and Smolarek in the Polish NT. Cheers.

Regarding Larsson, hasnt he started a high majority of games over the past few months for Barca, and also scored alot of goals in the process. He had something like a 7 or 8 game goal streak if im not mistaken. All the at tender age of 35, not quite in his Celtic prime.
Also, I think Frankowski is slowly falling out of favor with many......his recent poor form and lack of scoring for Wolverhampton seem to indicate he would probably only be a sub at the WC.
So all in all i think it will be a good back and forth between Zurawski and Ebi in terms of goals....in which my opinion, Zurawski with his experience should score a few more than the youngster...but whatever happens....i really like the offensive tandem for the polish NT this go around.......the defense on the other hand...................

I would hold the Makaay bet if I were you, he's probably not going to be in the selection.
