Who is planning to go to Dallas next month?

Yeah, here pretty soon we'll be finalizing getting a charter bus for the game. That way no one has to pay for hotel rooms (unless they want to) because we can drive up (and drink), then go to the game (and drink), and drive home after we win (and still be drinking.)

I hear this is a great charter bus to take:

... and we could moon the opposing fans when we arrive at the stadium in Frisco just like the Charlestown Chiefs Booster Club did in "Slapshot..." or not.

Or perhaps we could intimidate them by taking a sledgehammer to the bus before we leave Houston "making it look mean."

If someone can coordinate the ticket buying - I have the information and form to send in. $15 tickets in "away team" supporter's section (room for 100+). Minimum order of 20 tickets.

That's section 132 if you want to look at the stadium and see where the seats are: http://fc.dallas.mlsnet.com/MLS/fcd/stadium/

So, $15 for the tickets and how much roughly (I know this probably depends on the number of people who will be going) for the charter bus?

Damn it! I really want to go but I just realized that I will probably have to work. I'll see if I can get out of it but I'm not optimistic.

I would be interested in the trip. Make sure you get a bus with a bathroom. That sounds like a no brainer but we had that problem on a tip last year . . .2 kegs . . no toilet.

I really want to stand with you guys and make all the noise i can for houston. I don't know if i'd ride the bus up, if you get one, but i would like to get tickets with you guys. Do you know when you plan on ordering the tickets and such. thanks

Ok, the way this seemed to work best on the RS boards when they were planning a "booze bus" trip up to Spartan to see the G's play the Smurfs was to have an ongoing list of who's going. When you post that you and however many friends and family are going, just add the next number(s). I will occassionally repost the whole list so we see the full count.

EDIT - you all do realize that this is just as historic an occasion as this past Sun. at Robertson, right? We are going to bring the noise to those never-won-jackshit Southern Okies!

We will order 20 tix as soon as we get them paid for, and I believe we have to finish the order by the end of the month.

Sounds like we may want to have 2 lists - one for the bus trip, and one for tickets.

FuBoy is in for the bus trip! I'll post more names as I recruit travelers!

I realize I misspoke, MBean - in order to save people scrolling thru the whole list a bunch of times, when you post, just add your own numbers, thus

5. MBean
6. Mrs. MBean

and also

7. FuBoy

And I am thinking this will be a "bus and ticket" list - the main logistical hurdle will be getting a good deal on the bus, it's more important to know how many are riding. Once we're beyond 20 tickets (and we'd BETTER get beyond that), the people who are going to drive up themselves can get the same ticket deal from your Dallas ticket rep, right FuBoy?

I'm going for sure on that bus
just post with a little of time the prices and all that :D

well this is my first post in here
I don't know none of you
but I was on Sunday with the Texan Army
since the beginning of the half time

The problem is that I bought my season tickets in a different zone
but anyway I will figure out the way to be with you all on every game.

Probably some of you saw me last sunday
I was wearing a black shirt, camo pants and I have long black hair

I have a lot of ideas that can help you.
Because I've been in these for many years.
I was one of the founders of a supporter's group like this one, but in Mexico.
I have also been working in some designs for T-shirts, banners, flags.

see you next Saturday
I'll try to be there early to change my tickets to be with the Texan Army, and to drink some beer outside because inside its expensive hahaha...
also on these days i'll try to buy some orange or black ballons to take them to the game on Saturday, also a lot of paper for the team's entry

sorry, my English ain't the best, but I try hahaha...

Come by our tailgate if you can and you can meet everyone. We'll be there early and for $7 you can have all the beer you can drink. If you need a map go here (http://www.texianarmy.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=27&Itemid=9&PHPSESSID=732e55ccc2f3353b8ad6a4df58651665).

I'm very glad that you are interested in joining us in section 213. The more ideas, the better and the fact that you have some experience with this in Mexico is great, in my opinion. Any R rated Spanish chants you can suggest would be even better. It's always fun to curse in other languages.:D

And don't worry about your English...it is much better than my Spanish. :D
