Everton hosts Sunderland this Saturday.
If there's any game we should win, it's this one.
Which means -- if the Toffees aren't careful, we may see an upset by Sunderland.
Looking at the teams around us in the standings, this weekend's games are:
Bolton, 48 pts, hosts Man United
Wigan, 46 pts, visits Blackburn
West Ham, 45 pts, hosts Charlton
Everton, 43 pts, hosts Sunderland
Charlton, 42 pts, visits West Ham
Man City, 40 pts, hosts Middlesbrough

Are they mathematically relegated yet?
I don't think anyone really expected us to win the derby, so in my mind, it's already gone. We should just look to continue to play well and the goals will happen. I'm not (too) worried (yet).
COYB!
(p.s. Thanks for starting the thread. It was on my to-do list for today.)

You're welcome. :)
BTW, is creating that 2nd EPL forum on your/Prenn's to-do list as well? Or are y'all holding off on that until EPL N&A gets more traffic?

This will be tougher than everyone expects. I say 2-0 win but we will have to brind them down to get it.
If we win then we relegate Sunderland, its also on April the 1st. Bad omens if you ask me seeing as i carnt remember the last time we relegated someone.

Good luck! Relegation candidates are hard to beat in the late stages of the season.
Anyway they shouldnt be too hard. The form of super Cahill Arteta Beattie and Osman should make it easier.
BTW is Carsley back?

You've only got ten guys on that field if i'm counting right...and Nuno Valente is out this game, and maybe even the rest of the season. I'd like to see VdM get a start...he needs playing time, and who better to play against than Sunderland?

Chill...we've still got Arteta, and he could slap them around blindfolded with both hands tied behind his back. :D

vdm is banned for 3 games so wont take part, Valentes prob done for the season.
I really hope that Turner gets the nod, its clear that Wright is incapable so we need to make the change now.

There's no stream and no free audio, and I highly doubt this one's on TV since it's two teams that FSC could give two shits about.
I'd be happy to keep anyone who's reading updated, but you've gotta let me know you're here cuz I don't wanna talk to myself.
