Well, it's not really hers - she didn't make it. But this was just.... weird.

Britney Spears will soon be giving birth again in Brooklyn, as a sexy sculpture that has drawn thousands of hate e-mails.

"This is a new take on pro-life. Pro-lifers normally promote bloody images of abortion. This is the image of birth," Daniel Edwards said of his work, to be unveiled at a Brooklyn gallery in April, months after Edwards' sculpture of Ted Williams severed head stirred up an artistic storm.

The life-size pop princess is naked and pregnant, crouching face-down on a bare-toothed bear rug as the baby's head appears on the opposite end.

I would post a picture of it but, well, speaking of choices, I think people should have a choice before seeing it. :D

the picture linked there is from the front so it's nothing too offensive.

it's pretty realistic because in the other room there's a sculpture of Kevin at a strip club. just like the actual birth.

I saw the pictures of this sculpture on WWTDD.com (http://www.wwtdd.com/index.php?type=one&i=765), and I agree with him that it looks more like conception than childbirth.

is it "life-like" from the backside? or is that where art becomes inappropriate for the internet?

Women who are having what is known as back labor. It is when the baby is turned face up towards the belly instead of towards the back. It is one of several birthing positions. In fact I would take a gander that all mammals aside from humans almost always give birth like that. Why there is a bear skin rug involved is either "artist interpretation" or "artists poor tastes in birthing rituals" I mean if Brittany said "You know, I want to give birth on a bear skin rug" it wouldn't surprise me.

Even money that the trailer park queen buys it and puts it in her living room.

It's borderline seizure inducing, but it's funny as hell.

If you don't rep Claymore for at least finding that picture, the terrorists have won.

I'd be less offended if it was a sculpture of Jesus eating babies while getting a beejer from the Virgin Mary.

Repped.

And, a quick side note, this is why I don't have kids. Moronic as her existence is, she started off as someone's cute little girl, and it ended as a marble statue of her naked & pregnant likeness, getting taken doggy style by a cartoon villan during childbirth of all things.

First, thank you lord for inventing the internet. Second, thank you for not putting the stupid idea into my head of having a daughter. :D
