Anyone been following this story?
Last series they made a show about Scientology, calling Tom Cruise a weirdo and when he and R Kelly got scared they hid in the closet - "Come out of the closet Tom, you're not fooling anyone!" etc.
Isaac Hayes, who plays Chef, is a scientologist. He took great offence to the episode and decided to leave the show. Scientology sued Matt and Trey, they released a statement saying "So, Scientology, you may have won this battle. But the million year war for control of earth has only just begun!"
Then they released their new series.
Chef gets brainwashed by the Super Adventure Club, and they cut and paste old bits of speech together to make him into a paedophile!!
Brilliant! :D

I don't know much about scientology to be honest, i do know it's crap but that's about it.
The next episode is brilliant too, Smug. About Hybrid cars and George Clooney's acceptance speech at the oscars. 'Ahead of the curve', shut up! :D

SP gang usually spot on with the social commentary and what not. last night I finally saw the new one about "family guy" and offending Islam(Danish cartoon tiff).
he he he...well done.

I saw that too.. they made mention of offending religions on tv, reference to Scientology. The subtitles to the Cleric guy was funny.
I happen to really like Family Guy and South Park, i hope the ripping was all good natured. Family Guy rip on other people all the time, as do South Park.
