Volunteers are busy mailing out 2006 membership cards to new and renewing members as quickly as the dues payments come in. If your card doesn't arrive in time for the opening game this Sunday, never fear. Just stop by the membership table at the Screaming Eagles tailgate in parking lot 8 and pick up a temporary card. It will entitle you to all of the benefits of SE membership---such as free drinks and discounted food at the tailgate and reduced-price seats in the Nest---until your official card arrives.
Please note that cards for new and renewing members are being sent out on different schedules. The reason is that different volunteers are handling the two sets of mailings, because new and renewing members receive different gifts. So if you renewed and your friend or relative joined at the same time, don't be surprised if your membership cards arrive on different days.
