I keep seeing available tickets to Tunisia vs Saudi Arabia in Munich and it gets me to thinking about how they assign which games go where for the World Cup. Obviously the European countries will do best in getting fans in the stadium, particulary at a European WC. Brasil will also always draw huge crowds, and one assumes the home country packs 'em in. So why do they assign the stadia to matches before the draw occurs, instead of afterwards assigning matches to the stadium based on expected attendance and capacity? Maybe at this WC every game sells out and so it doesn't matter too much, but you've got England, which will fill any stadium they play in, on 15th June in Nuremberg, the smallest venue, and the day before you have Tunisia/KSA in Munich, which is either the largest or second largest venue. Not to mention that England will travel heavy and Nuremberg hotels probably sold out the day the match was declared there. Munich, Berlin or a couple of other German cities would be much better suited to handle this capacity.

PS Note I am not an England fan, just using them as a handy example. One could surely substitute Brasil, Netherlands, Italy, etc and get the same result.
