I just wish the MLS & USL leagues would switch places already:D

Who the ******** is MLS anyway?

The USL has Romario. ;)

You're all ********ing pathetic, even for plastic fans.

;) DC and LA both sit in second (separate tables Clan). DC 2-0-1, LA 1-1-1.

I'm with DC for the week. Being a Battery fan, I think DC should be the last MLS team I'm able to support, but, after seeing a poster support both Spurs and Arse, I feel okay with it.

'Both sit in second'.......'seperate tables'.......er.......;)

I'm only going to show up of course, when we win.

Well, 'we' won this weekend - against probably the worst team in the league....or is that leagues?

Anyway....DC is looking good.

Being a plastic is great, think I'll 'support' them for a while now :D

Lemme know if you decide to. I'll send you a Freddy Adu top and a "I HEART FREDDY" sign to hold up at your first match.

You know what?

I've used up quite a bit of my vacation time for the WC, I'm taking most of the month of June off, but I also took a week off in August for my birthday.
I'm actually thinking of going to a mls match for the first time ever.

Might be a nyrb match though, they're much closer.

If you come to DC, your ticket will be free and you have a "seat" (no one sits) in one of the loudest sections in all of MLS.

He should come to the DC/RB's game in Aug. It's a Wednesday but I'll be there and it's 4 days before the wedding.

Er, not a good idea. It's not fun getting tossed from the stadium for cursing.

Or lighting smoke bombs or throwing beers.

Soon as I saw that smoke bomb I knew you guys were in for a bad day. Whoever did that didn't know the can of worms they were opening.

Welcome to OUR world. It's not just because you're from DC that that happend.

Sorry but the fact remains - the majority of people got tossed for cursing. No beer was thrown on the field or at anyone. The smoke bomb was unfortunate, but tht doesn't excuse the fact that a trip to GS is a shit experience all around - regardless of who you support.

I'd rather Clan actually had fun at a game.

I'd join you - but I might still be banned from that stadium

No, what I'm saying is that it wouldn't have been as bad had the smoke bomb not happened. That gave them a reason to use their "force". They're thugs and @ssholes. Plain and simple. The fact is that the smoke bomb was their alibi and motive. And someone did throw a beer, someone had a pic of it hitting one of them...which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But at GS, which is run by the NJSEA, the RB's and MLS have very little say in anything. We all (ESC) have out NJSEA horror stories, you guys have one now as well. Luckily it appears that they won't be running Harrison since it'll be privately owned so those tools are done after next year.

This wasn't the first time. ;)

Monkee, what'd you get banned for? Calling someone a bastard, audibly? :D

Just tell them your name is Jose Mourinho. They'll let you in.

:D

...and Clan, if you want to have any fun at all, you have to sit with the DC supporters, whether it's RFK or the Meadowlands. If you were down for the Chelsea friendly last year, you must have noticed the seething black mass at the other end.

When does DC play at the meadowlands?

I might try and get to that one.

Unfortunately, the only one left is on a wednesday, so the traveling support will be sparse. (8/16)

I suggest a trip to DC.

If Redballz NY somehow manage to stumble into the playoffs, maybe we'll meet again there, in which case you should come watch us take over the Meadowlands again.

MLS is a bunch of poo....

Its being going downhill ever since the one and only left;

I think they may have spared us the indignity of wearing some crappy generic Adidas label by the looks of it and spoiling those classic nike ones.

SJ Clash mind you. My god, they had some eye-sores. Worst kits ever spawned came about in the South Bay.
