Strong.

Good to see Juninho Pernambuco with another chance.

My only beef is with Belletti. He hasn't convinced me that he is selecao material, even with the lack of quality right backs right now. I'd rather see Ze Maria of Perugia get another shot (he's been playing very well for the past two seasons), even Vagner of Celta back to the position he played at Vasco. The selecao needs to get to Cafus successor asap.

Surprises to me: Adriano, Belleti, Flavio Conceicao, and definitely Ze Roberto. I think his time has past.

He is naming 3 more players (domestic) some-time early next month. I expect to see Kaka and... has Ricardinho left?

I would have dropped a few of the UEFA playing members to see some of the other players in the CBF but such is life.

What about Robinho and/or Diego (of Santos)?

Or is that just wishful dreaming?

the big suprise is adriano and juan. Leverkursen is in bad form right now. i was thinking he didn't have a chance to make it. adriano, i never thought he would have made it. why on earth guys he didn't pick ewerthon and eber? Ewerthon is playing quite well now... emerson is back(it's a shame. ihope he stays in the bench) my only joy is that juninho is back... ( i hope he starts). now regarding the three domestic players, my guess would be kaka, marcos(that's for sure) and "god romario" :) :)

Why is Brazil bring all these star players? Don't they have clubs to play for! I mean it's Feb, and Chinese national team suck. Why!??!

Welcome to the fine world of international football, where sometimes, for certain teams, it isn't always about preparation for the next tournament, but about fulfilling your end of the bargain to the organizers. And I'd be willing to bet that at least one of those promises included bringing the CBF's top players. Of course Ro, Ro, Ro and Ri are there. How many people in China would care about seeing Amoroso or Belletti?

I am not speaking as a fan of Arsenal, I am speaking as a fan of the chinese national team. They going to get killed, Brazil can send their F team and they'll beat China by more than three goals. I know the Chinese fans wants to see the Brazilian stars, I just hope they won't play a lot. Maybe the new coach will test out the new players.

Yeah, didn't we beat them 40x0 in the World Cup?

I don't think it's a bad game for China. It's a bad game for Brazil only because of the travel time. Even though it's an international day I'd rather see them in Europe. That would mean one extra day of training with the coach.

I don't think the translation came across as you would have liked, but considering that the players listed are generally amongst the top three on their clubs in Europe - and were World Cup winners, I think the question should be reversed.

How do Europeans in Europe see that their idols are all Brazilians? ;)

Don't get me wrong Alex im a fan of Brazilian football i just think that all the best of Brazilian players move too Europe is a mistake.
Why you think "jogo bonito" is dead?

Honestly I don't think that it is really dead. Brazil can still play attractive, exciting football. But the problem is, well, just like this friendly. It isn't really in the best interest of the many UEFA based players to travel half-way around the world for a friendly against China. No offense to China, but the CBF would have been better suited with a friendly in UEFA if they were going to select such a high concentration of foreign based players. These players will be thrown together for this match and I doubt you'll see a great deal of consistency as the players will have to learn each-other - since they won't have a lot of time to train together.

It reminds me of when France scheduled a friendly in Australia in the middle of the club season.

So taht I do understand. It's just clear that it's not really about the competition - it's a pure exhibition, or event.

As for the players, I don't know. The players are going where the best money is, and it is probably too hard to say "no" to loads more money and (in general) better financially stable clubs and leagues. I can't really blame them for wanting to go to a European club.
