Why?

It's irritating that they needed to create a movie basically trying to get people to feel sorry for them after what they said. They must have thought there would have been no fall out from criticizing the President in a time of war. If they made this comment today I doubt there would have been such a nationwide outrage over it. Yet, they needed to create a movie to show how poorly they were treated. Give me a freaking break.

Especially when a short, fat, blonde girl forgets that her words carry weight and that weight can on occasion come back and smack you right in the face.

While I support the stand they made, I don't think they should be that surprised by the reaction of country music fans. Maybe you should watch a Toby Keith video instead.

He's a douchbag. If he's such a tough guy maybe he should sack up and get he's ass over to Iraq.

You can't make millions of dollars in Iraq, don't be silly! Nothing's more American than making as much money as you possibly can.

Truth, unless you're Pat Tillman.

Really that song where he's singing about towels heads and we'll destroy your village sent me over the edge. I bet if you asked him to point out Iraq on a map he couldn't do it.

He probably spells it like so "Irack."

I've never heard that song, but just imagining it pisses me off. Everything I've heard that has come out of TK's mouth has been complete rubbish. The man is a ********ing twat. Completely ignorant hick who comes off as patriotic these days. Sad really.

Then again "patriotic" is such a bullshit term nowadays. If you don't support the president, you don't support your country. Completely laughable that this shit works.

I support the troops, and delusionally hope they'll all come home safe. The president is an idiot, however.

This has got to be one of the dumbest avatars I've ever seen in the history of Big Soccer. it's so dumb that I may be forced to start another thread in Customer Service. :D

She is one of the most center right Democrats short of Joe Liebermann. She voted for the war. Is anyone paying attention anymore?

Where to begin as the lone Republican in this thread.

Toby Keith, he's a musician have your opinions as you will. You hate Toby Keith, I hate the Dixie Chicks. All relative.

Jaypro, although she voted for the war she has consistently pulled a Kerry and flip flopped on it. She's a liar and a fake who says one thing to one crowd and one to another. Want an example?

"I want to thank you for raising your voices and joining with people all over America and ask for fairness. Your faces are the faces of America. The faces of those who give us a good day's work, and often not at a fair day's pay," Hillary Clinton. April 10, 2006

She's made plenty of statements with socialist implications I don't have them all right here but here's a taste:

Hillary’s activist work at Yale, monitoring the civil rights of the Black Panthers, won her a summer internship at the Berkeley office of attorney Robert Treuhaft in 1972. A hardline Stalinist, Treuhaft had quit the Communist Party in 1958 only because it was losing members and no longer provided a good platform for his activism. (Barbara Olson, 1999, pp. 56-57)

"Treuhaft is a man who dedicated his entire legal career to advancing the agenda of the Soviet Communist Party and the KGB," notes historian Stephen Schwartz. (David Brock, 1996, p33)

In the March 5, 1992 issue of the New York Review of Books, Gary Wills examined Mrs. Clinton's writings on child rights; he notes that Mrs. Clinton "returns to a classical concept of all social activity as political" - and thus within the sphere of state authority. Wills explains further: "In the past, the child's rights were asserted vicariously through the parent. Ms. Clinton sees those rights as, at times, to be asserted against the parent.... [T]his has always been recognized in abuse cases. But she would extend it much farther."

Regarding HRC's Health-Care Reform Plan: When she was traveling across the country promoting her health plan, a woman complained that she did not want to get pigeon-holed into a plan that was not of her choosing.
HRC's response: "It's time to put the common good, the national interest, ahead of individuals."
