Hi guys.

I went to my local sports JJB today and saw the Tunits for the first time. Very nice boots, as I anticipated, however there was something that struck me: the lower end of the tunit, +f30, to me, were fantastic, if not better LOOKING than the +f50s. I've always detested the lower end versions of any boots, i.e pulsions, absolions, manics etc, (I own manias, pulses, absolutes), but the +f30s look great, and im sure Darren will back me on this. In my eyes, they honestly look no different. Having said that, the design isn't as "busy", one might say than predators or nike air zooms. The only significant difference i noticed was the toe box, which I dont think is really an issue to me. The +f30s looked great, and for their price, I think I will get a pair.

Just thought I'd share this, and does anyone else agree with me here?

Cheers, Sq

If you do get them, wait until you USE them. They are FANTASTIC boots. I've sung theire praises since I purchased mine. The only complaint I have is the velcro not being all over the tongue and just the top. (oh yeah, and HORRIBLY long laces...again...) I really think that having a great quality midline boot might take away sales from the tunits. I've talked to a few boot freaks, and they also don't want to be bothered with the tuning part of the boot. HOWEVER, the more I think about it, for me, there is no need to tunit, BUT, if I did need to (occasional rain) I have the option if need be. I'm starting to look at it differently now, which in turn makes the tunits a little more appealing to me...

They're narrower than the tunits??? Oh boy, maybe I won't be getting a pair... I think the room in the +f30.6 is pretty generous compared to the previous models...

Agreed. If I buy f30s, I can also buy a pair of F50+ air force blue which ive wanted for ages. I think thats exactly it, Darren: Adidas are raving so much about "tuning-it" but I couldnt care less personally. When i picked up the f30s i thought they were the real top end deal- I swear. When i looked at the f50s, dare i say it, i was a little disapppointed!

I think the tunit idea is a novel idea that might wear off after time for some as well. For others, this is a GREAT idea. Especially for people who aren't into boots as much as us freaks here(i say that with love).. All they need is the one boot and they're set. I haven't seen the tunits yet, I'm afraid to go into the shop here and look, (lead me not into temptaion) being a big fan of synthetic, I might fall in love way to easy... so it's off to ebay to sell some stuff....

I saw the F50+ TUnits for the first time today at my local football shop. They felt great, the synthetic is soft and has a nice feeling. When I tried them on they snugged my feet and for me they felt comfier than the Vapor III's.

I am a little bit worried about the whole replacing studs issue. I wonder if the studs are durable while playing? Can they just slip out or from somuch screwing, eventually "wear and tear", and the spot for the screw to insert will strip?

I love the boot, very interested in exchanging my Vapor III's for some TUnits. (55%-45% Tunits over Vapor III).

can anyone with the Tunits give me some details about the replaceable stud issue, do you think they are safe boots, I worry about the stud falling out or a problem similar.

I played in mine for the first time today, and all I can say is that Adidas has once again surpassed my already high expectations.

I was planning to take these off at halftime of my game, anticipating blisters and discomfort that usually come with new shoes, especially synthetics. But these felt just as comfortable as my old f50's which I've had for a year. I am absolutely amazed. I've never had a pair of shoes (and I've always bought top-end shoes) that broke in so easily.

One of my other major worries with these was that they would be sticky and difficult to dribble the ball with. This was also not a problem. Actually, they felt exactly the same to me as my old f50's except lighter. The biggest reason I went with the Tunits was that I loved my f50's so much. I feel like I'm in a lighter version of the same shoe, except I can use these in all conditions and they will probably last longer, so I'm thrilled.

My only complaints have to do with changing the studs. As others have said, it can be a little tricky to get the studs on correctly. Also, the stud key is made of plastic and already the grooves on the inside are wearing down and making it harder to get the studs on and off. I think I'll have to get a new one by the end of the spring, but that's only $5.

Nevertheless, I love these shoes. Today I had an indoor game, but this week I'll start practice outdoors on a muddy field. I love that I can just switch out the studs and wear the same shoes. I've decided that I may buy a lightweight chassis and a climalite upper because I'm so impressed.

has anyone else found the climacool upper to be a bit different fit to the other uppers as in a bit more snug around the middle of the foot and toes

Yeah i've got them. Not worn them yet though. You are right they are for the summer. They are nice though because the front of the boot is bit different to the other tunits.

I wont be wearing mine until the summer i think you will wreck them wearing them in wet pitches especially because there are like holes on the sole of the boot to get the air in.

Some nice colours in there but i think if you already have the 1st premium pack not much point in getting the 2nd one cause you can just get the uppers.

I lost 3 the first time i played in the boots - i changed to the HG ones, i assume i didnt screw them in right but it's stillbloody annoying, also i swear the show is coming away from the soleplate slighty.

I really do question the durabillity of the boots now, but there soo cool, although i'm not sure if i should take them back and get some preds

I got my new Eurosport catalog in the mail today. Opened it up and BOOM! There are the Fierce red/black/metallic uppers along with my favs, the electricity/royal. I really want to get a pair of these boots, but there is no way in hell I am going to buy them if they fall apart in 2 months. How are they holding up for people? How are the studs holding up? Is there stripping in the screws? Just an overall wear and tear evaluation.

If you look at the lining of the grey/red ones, they look like they might be the climawarm uppers. There is a lining in the heel that isn't in the regular uppers. Cream and red are the best looking uppers so far. Can't wait for the f30.6 in that color.
