tunits, the chassis strip and that sucks SUCKS SUCKS i just got them two days ago and switched them twice

Did you put them in right though?

I've switched mine a few times. And i've found if you take your time and dont force the studs if they dont want to fit you'll be fine. Sometimes they do go in at an angle and you just have to keep on trying.

this sounds like we could get into some risky double-entendre territory....

Yeah I imagine alot of cross threading is bound to happen. Especially with people who have little patience.

i did not have patience while putting them in, i won't lie...but still it happened pretty easily

It was harder when you had to get the little cups to clip into the sole. I found if these werent lined up correctly then the studs wouldnt go in right.

ohmigod..this afternoon i went to the sporst store i frequent, looking for shinguards, and the tunits were there!!!! the blue yelow ones... so i tried them on, after reading all the stuff posted here about the boots, and they were my size, and ohmigod.. they fit like a dream!! haha i know my previous posts about testing out boots make me seem like all boots fit like a dream, but seriously!!!

and i was testing the whole tune-it thingy, and i dont realy c why people have a hard time screwing in the studs.. it was a piece of cake.. still doubtfu about the plastic wrench tho, but yea, i know my strength, so i shouldnt have any problems with it.. heheh

damn.. now i wish i had waited a bit before deciding on getting the absolutes, cos i couldve used the dosh to get the tunits.. but ohwell.. im happy with the abs..

might get them sometime in the future.. or i could wait till the white/blue come out..

*sigh*

Just wanted to say that my White/Master Blue/Zenith Tunits will be here tomorrow, most likely! I checked the UPS order tracker and they were in the next state over (Mass.) around noon, so they might actually be closer by now. Best thing is, I ordered them only this weekend! I'll take some pictures and possibly write a mini-review when they arrive!

Cheers,

Bryan

Yeah mine are creased after a few wears. I think its just how they mould to your feet.

Hi all,

I'm not sure if you remember, but about monday or so i posted that i had lost 3 studs and that my stud key had broke - i ordered a new stud key and set of HG studs - thats fine....

I then got my key, and went to put my FG studs in, only to find that one of the holes thread must have gone because none of the studs would screw in, just kept going round - took them back today and exchanged them so i'm kool with that...i still think there awsome boots so i got another pair - wish me luck with my new tunits and my 1st time upfront!! ARGH!

hehe

Blastoff,

Just take you time this time around and make sure that you allow yourself plenty of time to get the studs in before a game. What i've found is if you over tighten the studs then the stud key actually flys off the stud it physically wont let you over tighten them. It just takes a bit of practice to get them in. May i suggest that you start with either the FG/SG studs to practice with at first because they seem to be the easiest ones to get in its the HG ones i find a take the most time as they are really short.

Good luck!

cheers for the advice Apple - i have just left the FG studs that come with the boot in this time (we've had a bit of rain, so it'll be a little wet out which is fine) and i jsut tightend them up, so with any luck, i'm good to go :D

same thing happened to me, no one to blame but myself they are siccccck boots for sure getting some red ones, and either white or neon yellow too! anyway anyone with previous f50s think that these are a little bigger feeling, maybe its just the toe box but they feel long around the toe and i bought the same size as my previous f50s and +s

hey guys...i just got my f50.6 tunits, but i have yet to use them. the reason is that im worried about being able to curve the ball, as that is a BIG part of my game. ive used predators for probably the last 5 years, and they obviously make curving the ball a synch. so do you know if putting bend on the ball will be just as easy w/ the tunits, or am i better off sticking w/ the preds? and also i was wondering about ball contact with the tunits. again this is my first time buying a covered-lace shoe. hows the contact on the ball? thanks!!

Boots don't make you curl the ball any better or worse!

I pretty much agree with everything that you say there, the boots are sexy, and i notice that they feel bigger - and i do think it is the toe box, because the rest of the boot fits perfect and if i went down even half a size then they wouldn't fit me - i hope i get used to the toe box, ebcuse they are awsome boots

If they are like the f30.6 they are quite roomy, but you don't really notice it, and it's not that beig of a deal. The toe box is bigger, but it makes for a more comfortable fit. Mos def not an issue...

yeh, i wore them last week for my game, the toe box felt a bit weird, but it was because i was used to the F50+ witht there narrow fit - i know i will get used to them, and i agree that it is not an issue really (even though it looks sortta like that's what i thought in my last post) just takes getting used to i think
