I got the real CL Finale ball to be used this summer with the same laminated panels and it is stupid fast. That thing bounces like crazy any way you hit it.

Yeah mine is real or at least it better be cause i paid 130$ for it. And yes i'm going to play with it cause my aerow is toast now... I've had it for like 1 year now and it's still okay but it's not as responsive as before.

tbh i still like the old WC02 fevernova's over all the new balls. i've got the fevernova match ball, the CL final 05 match ball and my cousin has the teamgeist. the control i have on the fevernova is just...different. the CL final one is a bit sticky and the touch on the teamgeist is a bit off for me.

I reckon you don't have one, and saw one in a car's window and took a photo of it.....just joking!;)
Tell us what you think of it, i hope you like it.
I hardly ever play with my seamless Roteira ball, but when I have, it has felt rather heavy.:o

Just out curiosity, Why would you spend $130 on a ball, and not play with it? I don't have the (cough cough) balls to to pay that much for a ball, but If I did I would be playing with it everyday... Yes, I would play with my ball everyday..... (let the jokes begin) 2 guys on my teams have Aerows, and they are the greatest balls i've ever used... (i know I know) I can see why they are sp expensive, but to have them sitting on a shelf makes no sense to me....

I heard from soccer pulse that adidas is releaseing a top secret ball for the WC final, is that true?

I wouldn't bank on it. Stuff you hear on SP is usually a collection of rumors. Most of it false.

personally i hate the teamgeist
it is way to bouncy and easy to kick so shots are way to fast with it
my team has some of both and i like the roteiras so much better they are more predictable and more like what i think a soccer ball should be like

Would someone mind explaining to me the difference in quality between the balls that cost $20 to $30 and the ones that are $130. I've always bought the cheap ones, and the ones that are expensive, and often the "real" version of the same design don't feel different to me. I realize I'm missing something, so what it is it?

I find it easier to get some rediculous distance out of the highest-end balls on the market as opposed to the cheaper ones. The cheap ones often times aren't as lively in that there isn't as much 'ping' to them when you strike them. However, there isn't much noteable difference between the $130 Adidas balls and the $90-$100 balls, since they're made essentially the same way with almost the same stuff.

Thanks. That price difference at the higher end might be just the sponsorship, like one has the World Cup logo or something.

Yeah, they figure once you're spending that much for a ball, you wouldn't mind paying a couple extra bucks to get the real deal.
