Well, thanks to my kid's soccer team, an extra 50 tickets were sold. OK, 49 actually--I already have season tix.

A little plug--the U-8 "MCSA Celtic" who'll be scrimmaging at halftime is my kid's team.

But sorry, no, I don't know anything. Hopefully it will be a good turnout. We want a big turnout to see the the debut of Red Bull: The Futility Goes On.

Speaking as a fan, I really like it when little tykes play during halftime and some kid makes a great tackle.

Yeah I know that's barbaric, but I'm just being honest here. :)

Do our 7 year-olds play with a beer logo on the front of their jerseys? Damn straight they do.

Under normal circumstances, it is for me as well. I bought a drum for the last game of the season last year, and I've made some modifications over the off-season so it's a little easier to use.

Well hope your kid and his mates do well out there...make sure United has a scout out at half time, or we might miss the next Freddy....?

I read somewhere that Moo Jersey sold 750 tix for Sunday, which is shocking as that would match their largest Giants Stadium crowd of last year.

And I was told yesterday that over 15K tix had been sold. Sections of the upper deck have been opened, as well.

Does anyone know where The Scum fans are being placed?

Under a Rock?

Down a well?

In the Anacostia River with a cement shoes firmly attached?

etc.

I love the little tykes soccer. I've missed the beer line to watch it a few times. Now that's sayin' somethin'.

MSI is having their sportmanship award day this Sunday at the game. So, there are going to be a lot of kids. I got an email from a DCU rep and he says they are expecting over 20,000.

I'm with you, Kelly. Especially when the "iron-filings-attracted-to-ball" teams go up against ones with some idea of spacing and passing. It's all good.

Back on topic: I'm bringing 20 folks. 5 or so are newbies. My ticket rep told me three weeks ago when I ordered that "sales are going briskly."

They will be in Sections 313, 314, and (gasp!) my beloved 315- the section where I saw my last RFK Redskins game , and also where I had my tickets for the first five DCU seasons.

I actually had a ticket there for the opener, but when I heard the scum were infesting it, I had to move - bastiches !
