With another season succesfully winding down clubs are begining to look ahead at new players. With both Miller and Caldwell set to join the bhoys this summer things are on the up as we try to get past the elusive group stages of CL football. Both Lennon and Zurwaski look set to sign extensions and although there is much rumor about Keane hanging it up its just end of the season and I have been beaten all to hell talk. I fully expect to see him all reved up and ready to go. With the depature of the following players new face will be brought in. GS wants four to five new faces not counting Miller and Caldwell and Quinn is saying he will have the money he needs to bring in CL type players. So we can expect to see a LB, 2 Mids and a striker on there way this summer.

In:
1. Miller
2. Caldwell
3.
4.
5.
6.
7:

Out:
1. Varga
2. Mo Camara
3. Dublin
4. Thompson
5. Hartson

Why would he leave?

He split from his wife and she's away back down south with the kids.

Very important information to know. Children are a powerful motivator.

Its probably best that he move close to his kids as I think the split greatly effected his performance this campaign. While we will miss the 15+ goals a season he clrearly is distracted by non football issues and has been missing quite a bit when it comes to playing games on the continent. Best of luck to him and he will go down as a Celtic Legend in my books.

Petrov on his way out of Paradise. Personally I think he is making a mistake. Giving up CL football and a chance to win medals for sides that are only going to be trying to keep from getting relgated? Lets take a look at the top five of the premiereship. First is Chelsea who will be bringing in Ballack so they are out of the equation. Second is ManU, probably out of the top five this would be the only club that is an option and would only be intrested in picking him up. Third Liverpool is not an option unless Gerrad decides to head to Spain which I don't think is going to happen. Fourth is Spurs who I think will be looking to bring in Von Brommel so scratch them off the list as well. Finnaly we have Arsenal who have Faberagas who if Henry chooses to stay i don't think either will go. So if he wants to head down to Fulham or Villa I hope he can take being at a below average club cause there isn't going to be any silverware in the case.

The chance to test himself at a higher level will be the main motivation, particularly for a player of his nature. You can't blame the guy and I'm surprised he stayed as long.

I'd hang onto Varga, he no worse than anybody we have in that position, I'd also add a few...I'll drive them to the airport
