Alright, you know it's almost here when there's a weather forecast!
Mods, feel free to roll this into the "Official MetroRedTardBull PreMatch Thread" when it's up.

Game time 5:00 pm.
Should be fine for tailgating and to start.
Might be a little damp later on, though.
At least the temperature will be reasonable.

Damn, I'm getting excited.

These longterm forecasts are really unreliable. I had a soccer game this past Sunday and I was following the forecast from 10 days prior. It went from Sunny gradually to rain then snow and then windy. It ended up being cloudy. 66 would be perfect though.

That's a fact.
I'm not sure whether or not DC is more difficult than other places, but they seem to change rather dramatically over time.
Hopefully we have great tailgating weather.

The weekend looks good right now, but the concern is a cold front that is forecasting to move in Sunday night/Monday. The models are hard to go by, but if there was a delay in the cold front, the weather could be great. I am an optimist, and after the weeks of cool weather, we are due.

I go to www.noaa.gov for weather. A little more conservative in their predictions and less ads. Weather.com seems to have a low reliability on their 10-day outlooks.

That forecast is for the Red Bull's day... no the weather.

These long term forecasts are really unreliable.

Well, it is nowadays very difficult to predict the weather because of the ongoing climate change. Climatologists say in some years and with the current level of fossil fuel emissions the climate is going to be impossible to predict. By then the only reliable forecast would be the early morning one for that same day.
I believe this is already happening and to say "in some years" is rather an non-alarmist euphemism which doesn't seem to have much correlation with reality...

April 2nd begins Daylight Saving Time, so it still will be light after the game. Can't wait for Sunday.:)

Finally, I hate having it get dark at 5:30.
