i took in the coldplay show at continental airlines arena last night. great show. really high energy from the band. crowd was really into it. good time! richard ashcroft opened. i only caught his last three songs. just before he ended with bittersweet symphony he said, "this is the part where everyone remembers who i am. not that i'm bitter."

set list in no particular order (as much as i can remember)
square one
trouble
yellow
clocks
in my place
ring of fire (yes, the johnny cash song)
swallowed in the sea
talk
fix you
speed of sound
politik
god put a smile upon your face

I volunteered at the Cleveland show last week (you know those folks with the Oxfam - Make Trade Fair shirts in the concourse? That was me.) Thought it was a great show as well....probably better than the first time I saw them at MSG (I was sitting much further away but had a better view of the band). Good stuff.

A couple photos from Thursday's Philly show (last show of the tour) here (http://extrawack.blogspot.com/2006/04/in-praise-of-arnold-palmer-coldplay.html).
