The fifa website says that transfers can take place up to 2 days prior to a match, but tickets will be sent out 6-8 weeks before the start of the WC. If you transfer a ticket a couple of weeks before the game, how on earth is the name on your ticket going to match the name on the ticket? I know they have chips on the tickets, but they say it will not contain any personal info. Anybody have any experience with this from previous Tourneys?

This is just my guess...but, in Japan/Korea for the later rounds you would take a credit card sized card to a "ticket center" stick it in a machine and if you had any games left on your TST it would print the tickets.
My guess would be that the person you transferred to will go into a similar place in Germany, show their ID etc and they'll print a ticket with their name on it there.

Thoughts?

So in Japan, for the TST you didn't have to go up to a person and show id for your next game? I never thought of it, but there wil be a large number of people who's TST's are still valid but their team has been knocked out, so having to line up and show ID at the ticket window could take quite a while. The machine would just spit out the ticket? Did this seem quick and orderly?
