Everyone complained that the semifinal Group C was ridiculously weak. But consider this: both teams who advanced to the hex from that group also managed to qualify for the World Cup. Neither Group A nor Group B can boast this.

T&T qualified because we played better football when it mattered, recovering from a poor start.

MoRado is right. Group C was very easy for both Mexico and T&T. It is safe to say that any of the teams from groups A & B would have qualified to the finals if they got to play in Group C in place of T&T.

I think that the term "easy" is better than "weak" from this group, but I can't fault someone who calls it weak.

The same team Mexico lost to T&T with beat Guatemala, thank you very much. If Guatemala were good enough for the WC, they would've beaten Mexico's "B" team, which they couldn't.
