Since we have the best food in the world  I thought a thread for Peruvian restaurants and Peruvian food would be a good way to promote it to tourists. Here in Australia we have 'La Cocina Peruana' in Sydney, I have never been there but most of my family has and they say the food is pretty good. It is also one of the few places I know that carries Inca Kola.

There's a total of 3 Peruvian restaurants in all of Houston.
They're all at least 45 minutes away from where I live.
They all suck.

Whatever you do, don't go to any Peruvian Restaurants in CT, they all suck! They're run by idiots who don't know anything about running a restaurant, the service sucks, the food sucks, and the setting sucks thus giving Peruvian food a bad rep, I'm looking to open one within 10 years, I'll make sure is nothing like those sh!itholes.

good call on Chevere, focq.....
one of the worst peruvian restaurants i've been to was in nyc in chelsea, at a spot called cocina cusco....the place looked trendy and nice but the food was terrible...
i went to the kitchen to see what's up and i found out the place was run by argentines and central americans were cooking this crap up.....
it was horrible and i hope it went out of business. all i did was drink beer the rest of the evening.....

Is that the one somewhere near 102nd and broadway?
Man, we looked for a Peruano restaurant and were told to look aroind there. It sucked. The food wasn't the worst, but expensive and the staff was acting like we were trash from outerspace. We decided to get drunk and make some noise, but ended up with a $500 bill. Acting trendy selling art on the walls and obviously a Peruvian restaurant for Americans, not Peruvians. They go out of their way to make it that way.

There is two peruvian restaurants here in Tampa they are "Costa Verde" and "Terra Sur" these restaurants have really good food. There's also Norky's but the only thing good it has is pollo a la brasa. Too bad my parent's friends don't own Costa Verde any more we used to pay less.:( I like to eat ceviche every weekend.:D
