.....having the priviledge of donning the claret and blue.
Having joined in the mantra of 'he used to play for us' it is interesting to note who has succeeded since leaving Upton Park.
Joey Cole - I'll give you that one
Frank Lampard jr - OK him as well
Glenn Johnson - ahem
Jermain Defoe - and the survey says: Aaaah aaaahhh
Freddie Kanoute - hardly
Michael Carrick - struggling to get back to his West Ham form
Paulo di Canio - this one doesn't count as he is a legend at Lazio and can do no wrong
David James - I admit, a cheap shot as it's so clear that Carrol/Shaka are leagues ahead
Trevor Sinclair - lost his touch in front of goal
Stuart Pearce - respect
Ian Pearce - likewise
Who else?
Ah yes Rio - being eclipsed by his more talented and better looking younger brother
As a footnote;
Harry Rednap
Leroy Rosenoir
Glenn 'Sarsons' Roeder
A mixed bag, what do you all think? Please add any I have missed out.
