OK...so through a friend of a friend (FOAF) etc... I will be getting some Budweiser sponsor tickets to the MUCH coveted 16.6.06 game in Stuttgart. Wanted to share with everyone here that this FOAF has asked for name, DOB, nationality, and passport number to provide to sponsor (Budweiser) for each ticket.
Anyone else in this situation regarding sponsor tix? Earlier on this board, the discussion had been that sponsor tickets were "gold" because they would NOT have names/personal information on them. Seems this is incorrect....
Also, since I have an Italy TST-3 ticket....wonder if I should exclude my name for the sponsor ticket request??

Hey,
I bought tickets thorugh Razorgator, and they just asked me the same, so for me thatīs good news.

It's a good question you ask Danno. People with lots of cash could have ordered a TST through FIFA, then bought single game tickets through razorgator thinking their details wouldn't be printed on the tickets. I'd put my friends/brothers name + passport no. on the ticket just to be safe.

I haven't seen any rules against buying tickets and then being given (!) more by sponsors. So I personally would supply genuine details, in case of ID checks.

Who knows if they are printing the name on the sponsor ticket - they may just want to associate each ticket to an individual... perhaps you will be safe to go to the TST and the single sponsor ticket

I'm curious to hear if anyone has received sponsor tickets yet and if they have names on them. If so, please post.
