NOMINATIONS PER FILM:
CROSSROADS – 8 Nominations
STAR WARS EPISODE II and SWEPT AWAY – 7 Nominations Each
Roberto Benigni’s PINOCCHIO – 6 Nominations
THE ADVENTURES OF PLUTO NASH – 5 Nominations
MR. DEEDS and I SPY – 3 Nominations Each
DIE ANOTHER DAY and SHOWTIME – 2 Nominations Each
Well, I've only seen 1 of the films listed, so I have little to say about the list. Though I DID see Steven Segal's new one, "Half Past Dead," and believe me, the man got ROBBED not to be nominated.

You could only have intentionally seen that if you were on the voting committee.
He did get a Worst Actor nod, by the way.

If Hollywood had any sense of humor, they'd have a black-tie award night and invite the nominees. Though most winners won't show up and presenters end up making acceptance speeches on their behalf.
I've only seen Die Another Day from above. But I knew it was going to be crap.

...or if your mother-in-law is a big Segal fan. (My excuse) It was quite funny actually: me, my wife, her sister were sitting there as it was about to start, laughing and saying, "I can't believe we're about to see a Steven Segal movie in a theater." Quite comical. Oh well, at least it was a "Super" Cinema $2.50 ticket.
Btw, the 2nd worst movie I saw this year was "The Last Castle" with Redford and the guy from the Sopranos. Absolutely godawful in a very "Half Past Dead" sort of way.

So apparently Juwanna Mann was so poor that everyone's blocked it out? I didn't see it but there is no way any movie made...ever...could have been worse than that. Just from the previews...come on!

Steven Seagal should get a lifetime achievement award from the Razzies for his entire body of work.

Personally, I thought Simone was one piece of crappity crappity crap. If not for Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Godfather, Scarface and Heat, I'd be saying Al Pacino should not be allowed to work in Hollywood again.

Half Past Dead was some kinda crap. Early prediction for next year: Deep Blue with Kurt Russell and Ving Rhames. Looks like utter crap. Next year's Wild Card pick: Cradle to the Grave. I'll be seriously hoping this one doesn't suck, b/c I really like DMX and Jet Li, and for them to be in a movie that sucks should be a felony.

Your complete dismissal of the kangaroo's nuanced yet understated performance tells me you have no idea what you're talking about.

Gah! Damn you! As a matter of fact, I HAD blocked that filth out, and you had to remind me of it, didn't you? :p

I was thinking Pluto Nash too. I remember how awful that movie looked based on the previews alone!

"Kangaroo Jack" is officially a 2003 movie. So it should have a good shot at next year's.

I pray to God that that was sarcasm... "Nuanced yet understed." Right. And the Neville brothers are "unrealized geniuses."

So true, the best work in CGI since TTT.
