I'm extremely dissappointed. I'm going to give 'em a shot because I like Mo Johnston and I like what he's done with the team. I have ten yrs invested in Metro so it's just too hard to just walk away and drop them. I'm not wearing their shirt, I'm not calling them Red Bull, and I'm not singing any Red Bull songs. If it's too much of a soft drink selling circus, I'm out.

LOL, Red Bull has bought the New York Metrostars and changed name to Red Bull New York and the colors to match a can of red bull. Much the same way they did with FC Salzburg.

I don't think it's that bad of an idea. We need some kind of big money in football here. I don't support them anyway so I really don't a rat's arse either way, but if sells tickets and gets the game some exposure here then that's great.
