Ready for enlightenment? Look no further than... I think I might cause a YA orgasm... Freddy Adu and Eddie Gaven. I bought them as depth for my United side, but Adu has broken into the first team and is my CAM behind Fred and Rooney, scored 17 goals last season. Gaven is my super-sub, he's like a Solksjaer Jr. with the massive impact he makes on every match as a sub. Also, and considering you're Wolves this might be hard to do, if you can ever put together 9 million pounds, I suggest you buy these two players: Messi (who Barca will suck you off for if you offer 6m) and Anthony Vanden Borre, who costs a measly 2.5m and is a massive talent at right back.

1st pick in the MLS Superdraft last year by Real Salt Lake, he is quite overrated in this game too if his performance at the U-19 championships say anything. Americans in general are vastly overrated by FM 2006. Donovan, Adu, Gaven, John O' Brien, Eddie Johnson. It's incredible, and hell I know why that's the case.

yeah i tried to sign both adu and gaven at seperate times but neither wanted anything to do with me so i pipe bombed their nice cars. adu said he was too young to move, and gaven said he was too close to his community and didn't want to move. whore. messi for 6m is an interesting proposition, as is this barca sucking me off thing...i also tried to sign solskjaer when his contract expired but he went to hearts instead. besagno = overrated in the game, but i sure don't seem to mind :)

There is a player at Cruziero name Edu Dracana, took atmost £6 million to get him, Arsenal, Manchester United (myself), Liverpool, Barca, Sao Paulo, were all in for him, but he chose Arsenal. There is also a Polish centerback/centermidfielder... Lewanoski or something like that, he is a bit older but his attributes are off the chain. Still trying to get him.

I got Adu, as well as Mikel, but it doesnt look like Mikel will turn into anything special at the moment. Surprisingly everyone wants Kieran Richardson from me, with bids as high as £6 million.

Real Salt Lake refused two of my bids for Besagno.

I signed Vicent Kompany in my first season. Then tried to sign Chivu, who is probably the best defender in the game at the moment, but Roma are budging. Same with De Rossi, he aint budging...

but my Keane replacement is Mascherano, my Giggs replacement is Tuncay Sanli, Scholes is staying on a bit longer, and Ruud finished my first season the Golden boot winner with 31 goals in the league, and then 45 in all competitions. Rooney had 27 goals in all competitions, but he has like 30 assist. Ronaldo is on fire.

Silvestre is... silvestre and no club wants either him or Oshea, though OShea might stay because he played well at the end of last season.

And then in Winning Eleven, I made a team from scratch, but put some fringde players on it before the season started. I have Sneijder, Fernandes, M. Assuncao, Onyewu, Chivu, Given, Babel, Donovan, Robben... then after squeaking through promotion on 4 stars raised it to 5 stars for my second season, but brough Pele, Cruijff, Maradona, Iaquinta, Convey and some other minor players (Nesta, Mexes, Mascherano)...

But got spanked... havnt played for two weeks now because of school though.

I used to play a lot of games but University and Jack Daniels stole my wallet. I traded in all my games to get WE and some cash.

Has anyone played Gun? Im thinking about getting it for a change, I havnt played a non sports game in over 8 months.

Souza, I bought from Benfica Reserves for 350k even though he's like only 24 and Gattuso Jr. Has no technical skills though, I just bought him and am currently developing him. Has good growth potential and become a decent squad player/sub.

Work permits are a bitch, I had to try 3 times before the Fred purchase would go through. You just have to hope a guy has played for his national team, otherwise you are pretty much screwed.

Heinze was good until around 2006, when I pulled the plug and sold him to Newcastle once Evra stormed into the first team and became my best player barring Rooney. I started playing FM at the beginning of the season, so I bought Evra before we actually bought him. Would have saved me massive cash as well, I spent 13m + Saha on the bastard.

Well I bought him in the summer of my first year when he was 18 and had no playing time in the first team, so his allegiances were limited. But yeah, he and Gaven make my team tick in the final minutes of matches. Messi I knew would be good (although not this good). Gaven came as a surprise, that was a speculative buy that turned out to be a complete steal. I almost feel sorry that I only paid Metrostars 750k for him.

Oh I sold Silvestre in my first summer as manager, after I bought Kompany. To Chelsea in fact. Chelsea have really been my bailout team, they buy all my scraps. Silvestre, Moutinho (who despite his attributes was utter crap), VDS (2.5m for 40-year-old keeper FFS!). I love those guys in blue. My one mistake was giving them Tevez, who I got on a Bosman free. To be fair, I made 30m off him, but now he's scoring goals like Ruud on steroids, his average is like 1.5 a match over a 3 year period. I hate myself for that.
