agreed. definitely going to have to get it when it comes out. despite the potential flaws that teso mentioned in his (editing, deutsch teams, etc.) there is no way i am waiting another year for the next WE to come out. Konami you have my money yet again. :D

What i've noticed by playing this demo is that the goalies still do their stupid mistakes that plagued Winning Eleven 10. They fixed that in the J. League version but apparently American 360 gamers are going to have to deal with this. I never understand why Konami screw their European and American gamers.

League version but apparently American 360 gamers are going to have to deal with this. I never understand why Konami screw their European and American gamers.

I like goal keeper blunders.

One of the most comical moments in video game history for me was a match I played against a college mate of mine with the old MLS Extra time for Xbox - which was on a WE engine. I had a phenomenal record against my boys... maybe 2 losses in like 70 games or so. Anyway, level scores late in the game and a hopeful long ball goes too far... his keeper misjudges it and it bounces over his head for a goal at the death... it was so hillarious. He was pissed of course, but it was soooo wacky. I've never seen another video game goal like that and I love the realism of WE.

In the demo, I was playing with Sweden against teh Czechs, and on a corner kick Larsson goes up to challenge Cech and Cech drops it. Larsson then tries to tap it in, but it is cleared point blank off the and it falls to Zlatan who taps it in. Goalie mistakes are fun, especially if they aren't your own. :)

The game is beautiful. Even better than the last (Winning Eleven 9). It wasnt enough, the way they made great supporting runs in the last game... In this game, its even better. They movement is even better. Its more fun.

as much of a fifa hater as I am... 2006 had very good off the ball running. I had a friend who played with Juve and Milan and between AI and his controlling of the runs - when he played with them, it seemed like it was the real Juve or Milan playing.

FIFA 06 was very very fun to play against a human and I thought it was a step in the right direction, there were many things that pissed me off about it, but compared to earlier versions of fifa, 06 had more things that I might not mind seeing in WE than before. Still a huge gap mind you.
