My brother beat that Gears of War game in one night. I went to bed at 11 PM on Friday. I wake up at 6:30 AM on Saturday got work. I go downstairs, and my brother is sitting on the couch with 2 of his friends...they tell me they just beat it...lol

Jo, I blame you for decieving me into to spending my sixty bucks on that bullshit called FIFA 07.
Its only useful if you are playing against someone, and even then its still gay. I cant even play it, without finding something wrong with it...

I like it. It is very frustrating though, I know exactly what you mean. Online is enjoyable though.

Im still having a blast in GOW.
Right now, just finished underground and the resonator didnt work or whatever. It took me a while to finish that last part with those fast locust. Only because Dom is a fool. I was basically by myself. Baird wasnt firing any shots, and Cole was always the first to die. So I basically went torwards the building... then drew them out, than ran all the way back and let them come to me.
The first mission in the next act is kind of fun. I keep dying, but only because Im trying to get better using the torque bow. Do any of you use it regularly?
That corpser was very very easy. Those little glow in the dark thingies were fun when I had the shotgun, but without it, it was a task.

Unless you search for the trailers on a game site then youtube will be your best bet. I don't recall seeing any videos kicking around on other sites.
I was playing my friend on Live and it was 1-1-1 in games, so we decided to have a final 'winner takes all' match. He instantly picks Brazil like the bastard he is and then fields some ridiculous formation with a million and one attacking players. I decide to go Italy so I have some decent defenders to cope with it and stick with the default formation. It was a game of pressing, last ditch tackles and midfield battles. Totti had a 30 yarder tipped over the bar and Adriano (:rolleyes:) had one tipped round the post when clean through. Into extra time we went. He snapped down Toni when clean through but only got a yellow. I returned the favour and injured Ronaldo but got a red. Still no goals and end of the half.
Into the second half and with 10 minutes to go I had him pressed back but just couldn't find a way through his mass of players. The ball landed to Totti on the edge of the box with his back to goal but he was being held back and had nowhere to go. I passed the ball back towards Gattuso but saw that Gilberto was moving in to tackle him, so I made him let the ball run through his legs. The ball carried on and Pirlo ran onto it 40 yards out. I shouted 'first time' down the headset (in homage to a game we played back in school) and took a shot. The ball flew over everyone, dipped just over his keepers hand and kissed the bar as it flew in. Cue my screams of 'golazo!', 'what a ********ing strike', an extended cry of 'goal' for around 20 seconds and then a final chant of 'get it'. All I heard back was 'what the ********', 'how the ********' and 'no ********ing way' as he realised what just happened. It was made even sweeter by the sound of his girlfriend pissing herself laughing at the other end. I then rubbed salt in the wounds by letting his defender run the length of the pitch to build his hopes up, before snapping him down just outside the box and taking the red. The freekick flew over and the game ended. Oh how I love Pro Evo. :D
EDIT: Yip, the torque bow is a great weapon. I love it, although you need to be good to use it in ranked.

That is a funny thing in the games. In the last version, me and my friend used to go at it like you and your friend, but in person. Time and time again, he'd hack down my players, with no intent to get the ball, and no call. I'd even beat the keeper, and just need to catch up to the ball just to touch it in, but he'd just hack me down, and no call.
Those are just one of those frustrating, but funny moments.
That same thing happend to me. I was winning 3-2 as Inter in the Milan derby, and there was less than a minute left when I scored that eventual winner. But he was in on goal with Vieri which is pretty much automatic, but hacked him down just before he got into the box, and took the red. Its hilarious..
Speaking of Vieri, how is that bastard still that good in the last version of the game? He's faster than Luca Toni, and he's freakin unbearable. He's too strong, and he accelarates away, then its too late, because his left foot is automatic. Its crazy. Hopefully he wont even be in the next game.

I'm not sure if he still is. I haven't played Monaco, or Sampdoria, or Atalanta yet. He's obviously not in the Italian squad but he could be at any of those three.

I've just downloaded the Pro Evo 6 demo off of the xbox live marketplace. I guess I'm spoiled by playing a patched J league winning eleven 10 on my ps2 but I wasn't too impressed with the demo. It seemed sluggish in comparison to J league and I also prefer the ps2 controller for pro evo games but it's fine with the 360 controller. I just don't like the position of the dpad. I guess I'll get use to it.
I'll still buy Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution 2007 for Xbox live but for master league and cup competion I think I'll stick with the ps2 patched version.

For those using the analog (myself included) pretty much everybody I know prefers the 360 version by far. With the PS2 analog, a good 10-20% of my passes we off by at least 20 degrees / 2-3 yards but with the 360 it's all good in the hood again.
P.S. Tiger Woods 07 on the 360 = brilliance. Really relaxing too, I've been playing 9 holes before going in to my exams in last few days.

You have to create a new xbox live silver account. Don't worry..nothing happens to your existing one. While creating the account choose the United Kingdom instead of the U.S.A. as the region. You also need to have a legitimate U.K. address(I got it from a book I'm reading...Publishers address). Once you've set it up sign in and go to the demos and you'll see Pro Evolution soccer 6. Download it. Once downloaded you can delete the UK account(if you want to) and still play it on your original american account. Thats what I did. I have to give credit to the fine folks at www.evo-web.co.uk .
You can only play with Spain, Italy, Sweden and the Czech Republic.
