Good news. If enough people get it we could try a back of the net style league for the board. I was going to laugh at us Europeans getting a game before you and all that but I need to go out and buy an old xbox just to play Sniper Elite again. It's supposed to be compatable with the 360 but it doesn't work for us over here. Bastard. :mad:
Did you jump straight into ranked on Gears?

It automatically does it when you reach a checkpoint. You'll see a little message on the screen to tell you it has done it.

I was scared for a second. I had gotten far (by my standards) and I was ready to go to sleep, but didnt know what to do.
Right now, Im stuck at the part where we are looking for the alpha's and we are in some dried up fountain and those holes start opening up.

I cant aim then right, but I get about two holes closed, before I run out of them.
What I tried to do once was stand close by in the cover of some pillars, and just blast them while they are crawling out. Only thing is, those bad boys are quick as a hell. It worked, but by the time I had gotten away, all my team was already down.
Its really a fun game, while being challenging. Im just waiting for one good day, I can go all out, and play for hours on end.
In other news, I love NBA 2k7. Both the association and the 24/7 mode. Only problem is, I didnt buy my own copy, I borrrowed someones, and his game seems to have problems, so when I beat Nash and Garnett at the end of the first court, I couldnt save it, and had to start all over again. But its still fun.
Just waiting for WE/PES and like you said, I;ll be good for the year or half of it.
Speaking of that, which games should we be looking forward to?

I'm still waiting on my ordered games to arrive. Hopefully the post kicks in tomorrow. :mad:

Oh and Postal 3, although probably not until 08. No doubt I'm missing loads and the usual sports releases (like a fully featured PES).

I think it's funny how much better the Sega 2k sports games are then EA's. I have NHL 2k7 and it's a blast. Although I somehow got beat 7-1 last night by the Lightning. :eek: I just wish Sega would go back to their $20 price tag. :D
Speaking of that, which games should we be looking forward to?
I'll rent the new PES/WE when it comes out. The lack of features really bothers me and so I think I'm going to be forced to wait for the next version. Apparently there is a manchester city sized expansion coming out for Oblivion sometime in the near future.

The lack of features is a pain but I'd rather be playing some form of PES now than none at all. Plus I've had it for months. ;)

Will you be taking it back when PES comes out? I played the demo again and it was awful. Just shocking. I hate that game so much. Have you scored a goal yet? :p
We need to get some player matches on the go at some point.
PS: Hitmand and Top Spin 2 finally arrived just now. 2 down, three to go. I'm off to play some tennis.
