Just bought FM07 for the 360. Never played it on a console so we'll see how it goes.

Tell us how it is later... My feeling has always been that the genre seems ill suited for console. But I'm very interested what you think.

I agree with the sentiment. The Live online modes (particularly the fantasy draft) look very interesting but I won't fire it up until later on tonight. Very dubious at this stage but we'll see how it goes. Gameplay (etc) should be identical but it will be the interface that decides it for me and whether sigames provides full support in terms of patches/updates via Live. Time will tell but I'll keep you updated. Probably do a mini review when I've been through a season.

For those that play winning eleven or pro evo, what teams do you use the most? Im asking because a lot of the people I play online, and around my area cant play without fast players. Its kind of boring because everyone sues 433 and does the same thing all game long. The player doesnt have to even be a winger, but as long as he's fast he will be playing upfront.

I actually mostly use Man Utd. Mostely because of the obvious reason. But they have fast players in both attack and defence. But they also feel stronger physicaly than the spanish teams i.e.
And I agree, the game gets monotone after a while since there's no really good way to defend against the fast teams.

Yeah, hopefully that changes in the future. Actually now that I think about it, and its risky, but better than just letting them run by you. Well timed slide tackles, and just flat out fouling a player works. I rarely get red cards.
Maybe its just me, all the moves are sort of easy to anticipate, but it still gets boring. Atleast with the computer on 6 starts, I change my game plan up.
Another Question. I was just trying to play my World Soccer MAnager or FM. While I was playing, it said the game was dangerously low on memory and has to quit. Then it eventually just closed. What the hell is that, and how can I have low memory when I only have one game, and no other additions?

I go Roma.
I cannot stand the idiots who go Brazil/Inter/Barca/Arsenal and then hit through-ball and hold the sprint button. ********ing pathetic. Even more so when you rip them another and they freeze the game. Once I get 100 ranked wins I'm sticking to player matches.

Yeah, thats pretty much the strategy for them. Its boring as hell going up against that all game.

The same thing has happenned to me in the past. I always put it down to having a crap computer with only 256MB of RAM.
I'd often get a message along the lines of "Windows is running low on memory" followed by another saying that "It was increasing the amount of virtual memory".
It is only if I continued to play for a good while after that, that it would eventually shut down. That was on Fm 2006 BTW, haven't got '07 yet so don't know if that would be the same but am guessing it would be.
Are you not getting these warnings first or is it just closing down out of the blue? Not that it will really help me give you a better answere either way as I'm no expert, just curious more than anything.

The warning I got happend first, then another message telling me it would shut down and I clicked ookay.
The windows is running low.. message happens to me, but it doesnt close my game.
Im planning on getting an external hardrive, because that damn game takes up so much space. But also, how would one go about adding more random access memory?

Might be agood idea to ask on the "Computer tech heads" thread.
I'll sound like an idiot here but I believe it's just a matter of purchasing it, opening up your case and snapping it into place as I think most PC's come with empty slots allowing you to expand the memory.
There's some precautionary thing I'm forgetting here, whereby if you touch something whilst not "earthed" you can feck up your whole system.
Wow, I'm a fountain of knowledge here........ :o
Anyone else wnat to help me/benni out?

For those of you who play WoW and have seen the intro for TBC you shall know that there are gno gnomes in it. So we made our own intro only using Gnomes.

Since Pryme has disappeared are you the rich one then?
Rented Hitman awhile back, fun game. I remember there being a few bugs with my version, but a fun game nonetheless.
Any verdict on FM for the 360?

I'll be the one in debt at this rate. :p
I haven't hit Xmas yet in FM but... I went Livi and selected all of the Scottish leagues. On the 360 you can only select 10 leagues and it only appears to load the small database (no option to change). No idea if the database size changes depending on whether you run leagues from other countries but I would assume so. It's a pain to get used to the interface and use the controller instead of a mouse. It makes things like player searches and tinkering with tactics a slow process. In fairness I'm used to it now but it still takes longer than I would like. The game itself runs fairly quickly and it soon feels like a normal FM game. Expect it looks a bit shit graphics wise on a big non-HD screen. The achievements add another level to the game but also adds to the usual FM frustration. For example, conceeding a late OG in game 9 of the required 10 match consecutive clean sheet run. What looks really good is the Live features like fantasy drafts (etc) but I haven't had a chance to check them out.
It's a good game to pass the time but I personally don't think I would play it as much as the PC version. Normally I would have a game running on my laptop all the time and I'd jump into it at various points during the day or play it while 'watching' the TV (etc). When the game takes over the TV and you are forced to sit infront of it all of the time then the appeal drops somewhat. If you have the PC version then either rent the game or buy 06 on the cheap to test it out. If I had a decent laptop (mine is ********ed) then I would have returned the game but since I don't I'll live with it to get my FM fix.
It gets a meh rating thus far.
