If Fifa 07 for 360 had "freestyle" moves, the game would be amazing.

Also, some fifa fanboy posted this in another forum about Konami and WE. I thought it was funny but interesting...
I'm still laughing at EA slagging off Gears of War for being 'unoriginal'...
“What is Gears of War? I mean Gears of War brings nothing in terms of innovation to the shooter… Like, zero.
Only two very brave UK-based journalists said, ‘You know what, Gears of War is a great game but it’s like what Quake was a few years ago.'
Why are people loving it so much? It’s like added production value, incredible cutscenes and the best ever graphics ever. I’m sure it’s going to be a great success, I can’t wait to play it, but let’s face that graphics are still number one.
When the hell have EA ever been orignal?

Konami is going downhill ever since PES4 they have realsed two games which have been much worse and which don't build up on it.
Fifa has been shite since 2000 I fail to see how the new ''features'' in 07 make it a good game. Seriously standards are falling even Football Manager has lost its spark :(

Konami peaked with Blades of Steal for the NES, since then it's been downhill...
And Uniteder, you can't be serious about FM, the new version is great. By far the bes version ever.

There is no doubt that EA is catching up to Pro Evo/Winning 11. However, I think the Konami games are still currently better. It is a shame though that they rushed the title out for the 360 and were forced to sell a mediocre product. I hope the PC version is quality, because that's what I intend on purhasing.
Blasphemy! You redeemed yourself in the next sentence though.

So yeah, the playstation 3 came out today. I went with my friend who wanted to get himself a copy. Well, after EB games and GameStop had said they were not taking pre orders about three months ago, they recently decided to change their minds. Fine, thats cool...
We then went to Target and WalMart. Walmart had 10 PS 3's. There were people camped out infront for about a week trying to get it. So when we got there, we were told they would be selling them on the 17th when the store opened. They lied. They sold them at 12am when the store was closing.
We went to Target, we saw about 14 people waiting outside, and they only had twelve copies. My friend was a little naive in thinking he could get it without camping out for a couple of days.
But how can stores only have 10-12 copies?
Anyhow, it seems like the last option is to get them on ebay. Spoeaking of that, those people in line at Walmart admitted to buying them, just so they could sell them online for 1500+. Then using that money to by the HiDef flat screen and another system sometime next year...
All I could do was laugh.

There will be some more before the end of the year, but supply will likely still exceed demand. Plus, we're probably only hours away from reading the first reports about bugs in the system that won't be fixed until the beginning of next year. I plan on picking one up in the first quarter.

I heard there already is a big bug...they only play about half of the old PS games.
I went by my local Best Buy yesterday and there were 10 tents set up  . I don't get it...

As much as I love playing video games, it will never, ever be that serious for me too sit outside in a tent in these weather conditions.

Honestly what is the point of paying so much for a PS3 now? Is there any game worth playing that you can't get for the xbox 360 anyway?

Yeah, good luck to sony. They may be ********ing up now, but probably within the next ten years, they'd make up the money right?
The main thing that switched my attention from ps3 to Xbox 360 was that one year exclusivity thing. The price wasnt really a problem.
But the problem with the Xbox 360 is you have to buy all these accessories to enjoy it as much. Is it true that you have to buy something that allows you to play DVD's ? Then the cooling fan, and some other chargers.

Sony always manages to f**k up these system deliveries it seems. I know it generates some hype when you underproduce compares to the demand, but they usually pass that point and just underproduce to a ridiculously low level.
In honesty, Wii had a perfect launch compared to PS3. My friend waited in a line to get one, and this ToysRUs in suburban St. Louis had 80 Wii's! He got one, and the thing is fun as all hell. If I get a system, that's what it will be.

You don't need any of them. If you would like to watch HD-DVD titles then you could buy a subsidised player but you do not need it for any gaming at this point in time. A good idea, particularly considering the stupidity of Sony and their inbuilt BluRay.
Hell, you could easily get a 360 and a Wii for less than what you would need to spend to get a fully functioning PS3 with everything you need.

Has anybody played bully yet? How is it?
I have it and it's pretty entertaining. Definitely a Rockstar game.

I'm sure it will make it to the XBOX and others in a while. Rockstar always seems to release games for the PS systems well before they hit the other consoles.
