Downloaded it through non-traditional channels.
Acquired is a better term. ;)

Anyways, how is the game, I have heard not so good things about it.

It's just like any other FM game. They've added feeder/parent clubs, club takeovers, more player interactions and media interactions (although they are still a bit repetitive). The same as any other new FM game, they've added the new things that fans of the game were calling for.

Although I might be a bit biased, since my Livi squad are top of the league at the end of October. Get in Big Dunc! :D

I watched a video of PES on 360. It basically looked like the same kind of game, with a minor graphics uphaul. Im still going to get it though.

Also, noticed in FIFA 07 (on 360), there are only 6 leagues, and about 45+ national teams. They just lost a lot of fans witht hat one. How do they lose all that?

Apparently they said they did not have enought time....Because the new physics engine took priority or something of that nature.

PES6 on the 360

No team editing, basic player editing, no replay save function, only 8 stadiums, Live issues, no German league or teams (other than Bayern Munchen)...

Basically they were forced to rush it out and no doubt Bill wanted some extra $$$ from the marketplace. Konami are not happy and are welcoming official complaints from us. Not a great situation but it's what we have come to expect from the early iterations of sports games on the platform (Madden, Fifa, etc). Gameplay wise it is still top class and has ironed out a few issues from the last game. Great fun but just waiting on those downloads...

I bought the PC version via Ebay for the first time. I played it before, via *ahem* test versions, but I thought I'd be legit this time.
Hopefully the PC is better than 360.

Rumour has it that MGS4 will be coming to the 360, as Konami are unhappy with the development costs and future of the PS3. It's simply too expensive to justify only one format of the game. Unless Sony can find some way of keeping Komani onside, this will be yet another nail in the PS3 coffin.

They lost most of them when they decided not to release it for the Xbox.

I have played the full game for the 360 and for the PC and I have to say that the PC beats it hands down. Runs much smoother with better graphics and the PC version I played had full stats, names, clubs, shirts etc even after a few days of release. Xbox 360 controller converter FTW!!!

So far Xbox 360 is winning the battle, and it looks like they will be winning the war. Especially since you have to wait a year to get some games that I was lookin g forward to.

Has anybody played bully yet? How is it?

Also, some fifa fanboy posted this in another forum about Konami and WE. I thought it was funny but interesting...

think FIFA should just keep going on their merry way, really, they are getting there, beg borrow steal from PES if they have to, but really i dont think PES has anything else to offer them, they are all dried up, gameplay was the only thing PES had going for it, but if you cant add to your titles year to year that says you are a lazy ass bunch, or you have no idea where to go next, FIFA is building an entire experience year to year, whereas PES keeps regurgatating the same sh*t every year...............imagine if car companies did that, or any other product, i think Konami is stuck in a hole or they think their game is far superior and are just flapping on a pole waiting for FIFA to catch up, sorry my Japanese friends, FIFA overtook you while you were pulled over beating ya chicken.

There is no doubt that EA is catching up to Pro Evo/Winning 11. However, I think the Konami games are still currently better. It is a shame though that they rushed the title out for the 360 and were forced to sell a mediocre product. I hope the PC version is quality, because that's what I intend on purhasing.
