I think Im going to follow the path of Teso and get me an Xbox 360 this week. There is about a month and some days before PS 3 comes out over here. Im sure none of you are buying the first available versions. Im waiting for the next batch, incase of errors or bugs.
The 360 also has an exclusive lisence for Winning Eleven/Pro Evo. Did anyone else here that?

The 360 has has exclusive content for all the major games. The next GTA will have two new episodes that you can only download for the 360. Gaming has moved on. Unfortunately Sony has done it's usual cock-up and will start in last place. Things aren't looking good for the PS3 and that's just from a hardware perspective. No doubt their idiot fanboys will say differently. I hope they enjoy a sinking ship.

I'm really a Nintendo fanboy and I hated the original X-Brick with a passion. Microsoft have really done their homework this time though and the entire platform and roadmap is superb. The Wii looks like it will be fun and I'll obviously get it for all of the Nintendo developed games. The new Playstation is a joke and I've no idea what Sony are up to and I usually go with Sony stuff.
I've got a finger in every pie but the Sony one is starting to grow mould.

I agree with you here, I'm going to buy the 360 and then the Wii. I am not picking up the PS3 for a while.
Wii looks very interesting...wonder if they could make an interactive footy game..

My Wild team in Nhl 2k7. I've tried to obtain players from Minnesota. This means either players born here, or played their college hockey here. Players who were drafted by the Wild are considered Minnesotan. There also is an exception for a certain young Russian. :D
Forwards
Ovechkin--Demitra--Gaborik
Bouchard--Rolston--Parrish
Vanek--Parise--Pouliot
Boogaard--Koivu--Potulny
Def
Leopold--Paul Martin
Burns--Shultz
Foster--Skoula

Top of the conference two months in! :D

The original plan for the PS3 looked very promising indeed but then Sony decided to arse around, downgrade almost every aspect and break every promise they made. Aside from going down the stupid BluRay route and the ridiculous cost implications involved, the actual hardware is unstable and the new cell processor makes development more difficult. Developers are turning their back on the system and Sony are turning their back on their fans, particularly in Japan and Europe. Then add the lacklustre online feature.
PC gaming is the daddy, which is why Microsoft was always going to win the battle. The original brick was an experiment and they have ironed out almost every single complaint for the 360. You get stable hardware and a platform that makes game development easy (since it is basically a PC). That's why every major developer has shifted their focus to the 360 and signing exclusive deals to provide content. Couple that with the online facilities and the ability to use the machine as a media centre and you have clear winner. Not only that but it eliminates the one problem with PC gaming, which was the need to constantly upgrade to keep up. Microsoft did their homework.

If I buy condition Zero, can I still play against my buddies that have Source? (counterstrike of course)
Just wondering as I'm a cheapskate, and I'm on a laptop!

Wait till HD-DVD games are released on the 360.
Oh trust me. Just mark this post, Scotboy.

No. Source with source. Old cs with old cs. At least last time I played. Source isn't that great anyway, despite the obvious face lift and new environmental interactions, it is poorer then the original cs because they have seriously ********ed up the hitboxes. Although I stopped playing cs a few months ago, it was something that is very noticable in the game (youtube "counter strike hitbox" and you'll see for yourself). After playing source for awhile i just went back to the old school cs. HL2 is still amazing though.

The original CS is much better than CZ I hear. I play the regular one form time to time. Only $20 and is a good timewaster/homework avoider.

got the new fm game, restarted with livingston. curious teso, you said the data was off for some of your guys, with the complete version the only difference i've seen from the demo is a few of the players attributes are worse then before.
Still, 5 games into the league im in 3rd with 9 points. My only losses being 1-2 and 0-1 away games where I completed dominated but was unable to score. Beat those bastards Gretna 3-0 at Almondvale after their coach started yapping about Livi not having enough to get promoted. Raided United for Heaton at 100k and also got Sean Evans, Florent N'galula, Borrowdale, and Febian Brandy on loan, in addition to Willy Stanger from Rangers on loan, and big Duncan Ferguson on a free.
Anyone have any pointers for away matches, I'm currently using a 3-5-2 formation.

Try to pick up Kristoffer Haestad as a freebie since his contract expires by December. He tore up the SPL with hearts for me

There wasn't any real data update between versions but there should be one soon. We are still trying to make arrangements for fixing our data. :(
Oh and my copy of PES6 was shipped today and will be here tomorrow morning. :D
