In the local paper here today, not much new, just Adu's renewed detrimination to make the starting squad.

Me, too. At this point I'm rooting for people to start new Adu threads just to see Knave post the "kittens" sign yet again. Probably only funny to me at this point.

Adu is going to be washed out of football before he can transfer to Europe when he turns 18 (in 2007).

No, I think most of find it hilarious still and will for awhile yet. One of the funniest posts on BS ever.

Which is why I don't see how it is more than mildly humorous. I mean this killing kittens joke/picture has been around for years. I think I saw it first at least 3 years ago. It is like kicking a dead horse. I've seen it applied to probably 20 different things you could do but some people might not like if you do.

No, no - it's WAY better than kicking a dead horse. The only thing better (actually, I'm not sure it's better) is the old NatLamp "Buy this magazine or we'll shoot this dog" bit. Classic.
If people would just realize that Freddy has turned out to be a very technically talented but supremely overrated MLS player, these kittens wouldn't have to die. :D
