I wasn't in Scotland when i wrote that, i am in Eastbourne right on the south coast.. and i was at Uni, with loads of supposedly hot girls.. they must have all been hiding. It's a crap day today so no hotties about.

Uh huh...
What annoys me today is being hungover and having onion smell on my fingers, from the food... it just won't go away, even when i had a shower it stayed.
Went out to watch the CL final and got proper wasted, got two girls phone numbers and invited loads of women to a party on saturday - just have to create a party now!!

When people mention or question White [I]Heart[I] Lane. Then I have to explain that it's Hart, and what a Hart is, etc. I guess it's a pretty common and innocent mistake, but it gets old after awhile. Then you have the snide, stick up their ass geniuses who like to call out your spelling when you write Hart (i.e "um, heart is spelled with an "e", not that difficult" is what they like to say)- then you can really stick it to 'em by calling them out on their own ignorance. Now that's good fun. Or if they're right in front of you, you can just kick them in the kneecap and call it a day.

Mispronounciation of people's names.
Come on guys, these players are internationally known. There's no excuse.
Dirk Cowt, for example. KUYT or KUIJT. No way is it COWT. Idiot.
Marcus DaBeasley. David Pleat, be ashamed. DAMARCUS BEASLEY.
Christian Vieira. Patrick Vieri. David.. again? come on.

Having to repeat myself because someone is too stupid to understand it the first time, or because they ask a question that has already been answered in the original post.
(See Martin Jol hates Ronaldo and So Do I thread).

the inclination to refer to players by the combination of their initials and their squad numbers. they're particularly susceptible to it over at the arse boards - even some of their very good posters (they do have a few) do it.
TH14, DB10, etc, etc.
it's just so gay.
i pray that this stuff never catches on in the spurs forum. marton fulop as MF13? i think not!

CR7

Or whatever Reyes is.
It started, by the way, with Ronaldo back in 1998. Proper Ronaldo of course. Nike brought out a range of boots called 'Mercurial' - the best boots i've ever worn actually - and then they brought out the ones Ronaldo wore. Blue, Yellow with Silver trim and they were called 'R9 Mercurial'. After his name and number.
Interesting, or not. Whatever :)

Yeah they are! Light as a feather too!
and the "TH14" stuff is dumb...It sounds like something Deion Sanders would have insisted on in his playing days in the NFL..."DS21" or whatever number he was...I can only assume we will soon hear, "TO81"...

I agree, I find it highly irritating.
Its not so bad when its our own squad, cos you know, you know straight away who the person is. The problem comes when the habbit extends to ALL players (for example WR8 for Rooney). You then have to actively think about who the hell they are talking about and thats something I try to avoid as often as possible!
