:D
Hate to say this but......ASTRO & Rocket fans show no passion, unless it's playoff time. It's sad when the Cub fans are louder than the home crowd.
Texans fans tailgate to get hyped up... but if Houston is losing by halftime most folks leave to party some more outside.
Is it just me or do most fans feel the same as I do? I can't dish out hundreds of $$ a year to get season tickets for everyteam.
I live and die with my local sport teams.
Hell! My wife looks at me funny when my 5 year old and I run around the house and yell gooooooooooooooooooolllllll when the US Mens team scores.
I'm not going to lie and say I'll be at all the games.
So It's up to you to show this team what true Houston passion is all about. Not like the corporate seat warmers that attend most Houston events.
MODS**if this needs to be move pls do so**

Glad to see I'm not the only dad that has this same problem. At least my better half digs Donovan and Beasley and really likes Keller and his unbelievable shot stopping antics!
If you don't or can't make it out to all home matches this season, don't ever look back with regrets on what might have been if there....???

I posted this in another thread, but it prolly belongs here.
Advice from a friendly opponent:
Regardless of the crowd, the Texian Army MUST BRING IT! Create an atmosphere at the game that the soccer savvy fans that’ve paid to show up recognize from Fox Soccer Channel, Univision, GOL tv, their collective experience from back home, etc. Make those who have turned out (the 15,000 or so) feel like they've attended something different . . . an honest to goodness football game.
Flags, tifo . . . . and yes table rolls. BRING IT, SHOUT IT, DRUM IT . . .Take the rolls, streamers and flags and let those around you wave them, throw the streamers and hold the table rolls . . .make the songs simple and bring people into your passion. Section 8 style.
Your actions will make folks go away thinking, "holy crap, that was an 'experience' worth telling friends about". 'Experience' sells . . . it's about the journey folks, make it worth something.
Best of Luck.

The dirty south knows how to party,,

to the 500 or so that didn't holler like a mug at the kit unveiling.
BIG Money.... "BRing theNoise" at game time! I saw some wallet packing paper pushers in that venue.....AEG sell. you could see their mouth watering. Who ever buys this team better put the folks in the seats... the astros have the Hispanic market wrapped up, even after uncle Drayton's anti Hispanic comments years ago.
do you realize how many Hispanics have the Astro/State logo tattooed on themselves.
