Hey Clan,
That brings back memories, I got rid of all my old programs and don't bother to even keep the latest ones after a week.
Some classic names there, and a few I had forgotten like Paddy Mulligan. Even the Stoke side has Banks, Gereenhoff and Eastman.
Garland, Kember, Hudson and cooke, all had great skill and Webb Harris and Dempsey added some steel. Hollins was a Frank Lampard of his day. And Carlo is the best since the great cat Peter Bonetti.
A fine side!

What a shady geezer he was - The manager before the arrival of Hoddle and the Chelsea "revoloution" -From that side Hollins was also went on to be a chelsea manager. I remember the anti-smoking advert that he did.
David Webb in his sheepskin and all his tom, a right shady car salesman, although my favourite David in a chelsea shirt would be David Hay - great player.

I put in a shout for David Speedy. A bit hot headed at times but always good value.

According to the odds, Chelsea is the most likely team to advance through to the quarter finals.
I wouldn't be so confident, though... We cannot take this game too lightly. I din't think we will, but there is a chance we may come away with a draw or loss.
In all seriousness, I think we should win 2-1.

The more of a scrap it becomes, the more chance of Stoke pulling off a shock, for they can never hope to outplay a side blessed with your Hasselbainks, Zolas, Gudjohnsens etc.

A Stoke spokesperson said: "There will be a larger police presence because the crowd will be bigger than usual but we are not expecting any problems."
Somehow or other i rather doubt that.

So it's going to be Hasselbaink and Gudjohnsen up the front with most likely Cole on the bench.
last season the pairing of these wo together would have caused severe panic in the stoke camp.
Lets hope the can reignite the fire of last season.
Pool hit them for 8 (or was it 7) in the Worthy cup a season or two back didn't they-at their own gaff as well.
Would be just the tonic those two need if they could do something like that.:)

Looks like we are gonna have to work on this one, Stoke are putting in a lot of effort and really chasing the ball down.
We seem to be playing with 4 in CM, DeLucas-Petit-Lampard-Stanic, we really need to add a little width to our game and start passing it around the pitch. Jimmy needs to get his form together, his first touch has been poor.
