How awesome would that be! The MLS needs to get away from the Euronames and other US sports have already cornered the market on boring animals (tigers, lions, bares, seahawks.. snore... Mighty Ducks???).
Why have our Primate cousins been so under-represented in the American Sport Landscape? It's time for that to change.
Let this be the first salvo in the drive to name one of the next MLS Franchises after a primate. The merchandising apparrel sales would be through the roof... Imagine a logo with a dookie-flinging Chimp on it... Now THAT'd be a jersey I'd love to buy.
At least the Apes or Silverbacks, but my favorite is still the Chimps.
