Ever dream of playing on the hallowed pitch at Highbury?

Are you available to be in London on May 26th?

Are you a registered member of Arsenal America?

Are you a US Citizen?

Are you over 18?

If the answer to all of the above questions is a resounding yes, then we've got some great news for you:

Arsenal America have been invited to field a team in a 5 v 5 supporters club tournament at Highbury on the 26th of May.

Each team must consist of 7 players and 1 manager, and we need to register no later than the morning of March 31st.

Interested parties, please contact me @ mikek @ arsenalamerica DOT com. Serious inquiries only, please.

Hey Rick-if you can start a "Help Stephanie play at Highbury" fund, I'll be there! You know put those little jars out with my picture on it....I am sure people will respond with loads of cash!

I really want to do this but the $ is just not there to make the trip...which really sucks! :(

I didn't want to assume, but I was really kinda hoping he would agree to the role.

Start coming up with tactics now Rick!

Wo wo wo!!!! If it's a player-manager role, then fine!!! But I would like to be one of the 7 players!! Especially as it's at the end of the season and it's unlikely that there will be many Arsenal Americans over!!

Sounds like a good time. That's on the Highbury Pitch? I'd love to play in goal for you, but I'd really have to beg the wife to come over. We will see.

Who's designing our uniforms :)

If AFC are cool with it, then of course that'll be the case.

I'm down with it. He's on our Executive Board for crying out loud. I meant whether on not AFC were cool with player-managers.

Not sure whether they are ok with player managers, but I know that Jill wouldn't object to me playing. To be honest though (and Judy would back me up here!!!) I have a great reputation for wanting stupid players and suggesting playing people in completly the wrong position ( I asked Arsene if he would consider playing Grimandi on the wing for example) I'm not sure I'd be the best manager to be honest!!!

OK, based on this heart-wrenching confession from Rick, does anyone have any nominations for manager?

LOL! Well, Rick's pulled a Sven and talked himself out of the job. Have to look elsewhere....

If it included a round trip ticket I'd come out of coaching retirement :)

Otherwise maybe Lanesra is up for the job.
