The name is Anders Imboden, by the way. I don't want to be the sketchy outsider or anything -- just a relatively new member to ArseAm. Thanks for letting the new kid in!
No problem, you replied quickly, and can be in London on the day.
Just make sure you sign up as a member on ArsenalAmerica.com if you haven't already.

Yep, got that taken care of a couple weeks ago.
I'm looking forward to this, thanks again! :)

So far, my list looks like this:
Player/Manager - Jeff Lancaster
Player 2 - Rick B
Player 3 - David Kilpatrick (DoctorK)
Player 4 - Tim Cole (topcatcole)
Player 5 - David Strauss (elloarfur)
Player 6 - Dean (deaner1971)
Player 7 - (gunner_anders)
That's pretty much the full squad there. The following people have expressed interest, but I have not heard definitively that they will be in London:
Charlie H (UVa Gooner)
Miriti Murungi (got an email - not sure what his BS tag is)
Rob E (yossarian)
Dan L (US Gunner)
Dan R (xdanx)
Matt N (49unbeaten)
Bill L (KC_GOONER)
(martymarts)
Simon Olsberg (not sure what his BS tag is)
Dan Littlefield (USGunner)
Seeing that the second grouping contains enough people to comprise a whole second squad, I've contacted the club about entering a second Arsenal America side into the tournament.
How come I'm not on the list?

Sh!t. Oh man, let's do this. Let's get you up on the upper half, with Jeff as manager. If this tournament is as much about fun as Rick says it is, I'm sure we can work it so that each of you get playing time.

No worries.:) I just didn't see my name on the list for either squad.

Shite. This just HAD to be announced while I'm on vacation, didn't it?
I don't really know if you've got everyone yet, but if there's still an open slot, PUT MY NAME DOWN and I will be there. I've no idea exactly where I'll be living or working then, but I will strip naked and SWIM my happy ass over there if that's what it takes.
I'm off to email Mike and everyone right now - hope I'm not too late!!!

My utter lack of short-term memory is bizarre. I forgot I'm going to a wedding that weekend. Which I'm the best man of. Wow.

Couldn't agree more "Doctor K". One of my best friends is getting married the week-end of the Wigan game in Berwick, (on the borders of Scotland).
Needless to say I have the first flight out of Edinburgh on the Sunday morning. I'll still be at Highbury for the final game.
Had it been a choice. "Send me the photos"!!! :D (And I'm NOT talking to RICK !!!!).

I'm arriving the Tuesday before and leaving the following Monday. Haven't booked a room yet, but probably will stay at the Columbia in Bayswater.

Is that where most people are staying at?

No, nothing yet. I also heard a rumor that the date was changed to 1 June. However, DON'T quote me on that!

Yeah, I've been looking all over the site, and I don't see anything about the tournament at all. I'm going to send our contacts @ AFC an email in the morning. Again, this was only a rumor.

Please let them know that people have made financial commitments to be there when they said it would be.

Please PM me where you have heard this. I am in contact with the organisers of both the Dover and Maidstone teams and haven't been told of a different date at all? Can I just mention that at present the staff at the club are extremly busy trying to sort out the second leg CL tie.........I will be seeing them on Friday, if there is anything that Arsenal America needs an answer for, can I please be PM'd and I will bring it up rather than them receiving e-mails from 3 different people from the same supporters club...........
EDIT - It would not be put on the website for reasons of people joining and trying to bribe supporters clubs to play. It is suppossed to be for Supporters Clubs that are established and their members - hence no reason what so ever to publicise it.

OK, well if it wasn't on the website, then the source was wrong. He claimed it was on the site. Thanks for coming to the rescue Rick (again)!
