Well anything HDTV in here. I'm sure alot of you guys sooner or later are going to start watching with the World Cup coming up and all. So last night I saw Scarface in HD, kicked ass. I have these HD channels called INHD and INHD2 which show nice imax movies. Watching one now called Chronos, my gawd is this ever a blunt movie. Really trippy as hell, a time lapsed film things go real fast and real slow. Could be traffic, people walking, or planes flying. Its a freakin trip, watch it if you have a chance.

Hell yeah dude. 3 channels form what I've heard ABC-HD, ESPN-HD, and ESPN2-HD(which I dont have). Mang this Chronos was a trip and a half. Another collection when Blueray DVD's come out. I cant wait for Blueray HD-DVD's.

Is there a clear difference between HD and regular TV? I mean I really dont see what all the hype is about.

I put the [R] in case you guys get HD and post scores for the varoius sporting events that happen in HD :D. The difference, if you have to ask, is pretty significant to get it sooner or later. There is a huge difference. You get like double, triple the resolution of regular TV's and more of the screen. Almost like when you watch a letter box dvd but the whole screen filled out and double that resolution. I love it, dude literally its the next step in TV's. Like when you went from Black and white tv(no I wasnt born then) to color tv's. Arent you like a rich kid living in Greenwich anyways :)

We struggle paycheck to paycheck so I do not have the luxury to buy a HD set.

Kesone, what cable/satelite service do you have? Have you heard about VOOM? They have a Sports Channel in HD that includes World Class soccer including La Liga in HD!

So why don't you pick up VOOM instead of buying PC upgrades :rolleyes: Is it not available in your area? Or is it really expensive?

One has nothing to do with the other one. One is for work the other is for pure pleasure, you guess which is which :D.

Oh yeah, VOOM would mean I would have to switch to DISH and I cursed DISH to hell when I was a customer before.

Yep, yep. They used to be a standalone company and went bankrupt. Then I believe Cablevision picked them up and dropped them. Eventually Dish picked them up. The programming on VOOM does look ok, but I would be losing some only for cable HD channels like INHD and INHD2 which kick ass for the most part.

From what it looks from both the DISH and VOOM websites, they share similar programming. DISH has a HDTV service, and it includes the WorldSport, the channal that show LA LIGA in HD

That is interesting, although HDNET has a show called Bikini Destinations. They go on location all over the world. Fly mamis from all over the world posing all sexy in tangas in HD. Once they were at Peru and this famous Peruvian mami, I forgot her name, Una mamasota. Well that was as close to porn as I got and may have even busted a nut :eek:
