Heres a thread where you can pretend to be the City boss and say your opinions and views on things, like formations, transfers etc.
Who would you sign in the transfer window with £10 million and who would you sell?
BUY:
Gravesen (£5m)
Bridge (£7m)
Thomert (£3m)
Upson (£4m)
Carlton Cole (£2m)
Total spending: £21 million
SELL:
Thatcher (£1m)
Distin (£7m)
Barton (£6m)
Sibierski (£1.5m)
Total selling cost: £15.5 million
I would do that because it looks as though Barton will leave in the summer and Distin has again said that he will only stay at Man City if they qualify through Europe and the only main way now is the FA Cup, but it will be hard to. I'd like us to buy Carlton Cole because he seems like a decent young striker and it would give us cover up-front. Buy Thomert from Lens to replace Sibierski, who I think is a decent player but may need to be moved on. Bridge to be in left-back, Gravesen to replace Barton and Upson to replace Distin. If we win the FA Cup tho, Barton and Distin may actually stay at the club.
