I don't think it's so much rust as the outer layer of the glasses got chipped off near the nose pad. It's the metal under there that is rubbing my nose.
Sounds like a possible allergy to this metal. Sounds like it's time to get new glasses.

I actually bent the nose pad on that side to get the metal part as far off my nose as I could, and that seems to be working. My glasses are a little lopsided now, but that's fine until I get new ones in the summer.
There are two things I cannot stand. Intolerance toward other cultures...and the Swiss.

Why has the Newcastle United Off Topic thread turned into how to fix the village idiot's glasses?
We're helping Zinn write his paper. Little known fact: The Village Idiot's Glasses was one of the Canterbury Tales that didn't make the final cut. It all ended horribly wrong, as the Idiot made his way not to Canterbury, but to Manchester. He died in a forest, heard muttering things about Trafford, a Scotsman, and a horse-and-donkey-show. Very cryptic...until now.

It looks like the US got its clock cleaned by the Deutschland today.
Doesn't concern me in the slightest. Half strength US team against a full German team at home.
