This is the thread in which we ridicule scientology, 'Hollywood' Kabbalah and the other so-called religions that fruitloop stars and Steven Segal buy into.
First of all, I saw this documentary by a guy called Sweeney who went undercover to see what all this Kabbalah business is about. It turns out it is a bastardised version of some Jewish cult that sold 'pure' water from a Canadian bottling plant near a nuclear power station, red string that was not wrapped round some Holy Jewish shrine and generally an excuse to print money and insult genuine Jewish cult types. The best bit was at the annual conference, when all the people were chanting maniachially at a picture of the world to destroy all the nuclear weapons. It was truely odd.
As for Scientology................well I'll say more when I have enough money to not care about legal action from those ____s.

Defintely Scientology. As silly as Hollywood Kaballah is, at least it is based (however loosely) on a real religion, while Scientology is based on bad science fiction.
And for any Scientology lawyers out there, bring it on - 50% of nothing is nothing.

Defintely Scientology. As silly as Hollywood Kaballah is, at least it is based (whoever loosely) on a real religion, while Scientology is based on bad science fiction.
And for any Scientology lawyers out there, bring it on - 50% of nothing is nothing.
In the event you have no assets for them to collect as damages, they seek equitable relief, ie., you have to join.

It's officially no longer about actual spirituality, but about how much press you can generate about yourself. Mark my words, the Church of Foos will be picked up by some celebrity sooner rather than later. Of course, the Church of Foos absolutely rocks, so they'd be smarter than their predecesors.

I voted Scientology, but Hollywood Kabbalah was tempting.
Now, I like it when people stand up for themselves and what they believe. But I think there's a difference between relating a story concerning your spirituality and Madonna's whole "OH BY THE WAY I'M DIGGING THIS NEATO KABBALAH THING" presence.
