I've been watching the replays of the first couple of seasons of That 70's Show on FX. I was caught a bit off-guard about how funny it can be. The new episodes really seem to suck ass though compared to the first couple seasons.

The show has lost some of it's luster over the years.

that 70's show is weird: the first season-and-a-half was quite good, then three seasons of mediocrity, then two seasons of near brilliance

however, they went hard the wrong away beginning with the season 6 double finale - it has been beyond sh** ever since then and i stopped watching it over a year ago

the only fox show going out on a high is malcolm, which has been largely inspired ever since jamie was born

I watched the first couple seasons in high school when ti started, then I stopped until a couple months ago when I began catching reruns on FX. The one thing I consistently liked about it is how there were a couple of good laughs an episode that'd come more or less outta nowhere. It's not non-stop hilarity, but it chooses its punches rather well. I say this having not seen any of the non-Topher Grace episodes.
