I'm confused. Which city are they talking about here? I had heard some rumours about Cleveland in the past, but this is an Akron newspaper and doesn't clarify which of the 2 they're referring to. I looked both up in the map, and Akron is some 37 miles away from Cleveland. Not exactly a close suburb. Going to Akron for a team sounds very podunk. (Don't want to upset any readers here, if they're from Akron, but even you'll agree that more people have heard of Cleveland than Akron.) Here are the 2000 populations of cities in Ohio:

Columbus: 711,470
Cleveland: 478,403
Cincinnati: 331,285
Toledo: 313619
Akron: 217,074
Dayton: 166,179

The distance between downtown Cleveland and downtown Akron is about 1 hour-the stadium would be somewhere between the two, in a suburban area full of soccer-playing families.

That AJC article was poorly written by wendy whoever. i dont even think she is a fan of soccer becaused she dissed it in the article. she even said 'get ready to shell out money for that one' referring to the USMNT game in nashville. wow, what a lie. the other leagues seats cost more than what its costing to see the game...sheesh, that stupid lady!!
