Excellent... almost as good as The Collected Wit and Wisdom of Julius Hodge (http://www4.ncsu.edu/~jphollow/julius.html).

Anyone want to back me up on this one? :)
But Hey guys, i'm not trying to piss anyone off, but i am a little ornery today. What would a discussion of sports be without outrageously biased opinions?
i think the main question here is whether or not Dean Smith would win a championship if he had both Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba on his squad.

Ah.
Well, I guess this is one of those agree-to-disagree situations. All I can say is that, as a guy who's been following basketball since the late 70s, I think that saying "Dean Smith is overrated" is about as accurate as saying "Didier Drogba is the best striker in the Premiership".
you mean he isnt????
:p

Wasn't trying to be a dick -- it was supposed to be a humorous "we may disagree but at least we can agree on something" lines. Sorry if it didn't come across that way; I guess sounding like a dick comes naturally to me.
Here's something we can (maybe?) all laugh at: a selection of JJ Redick's...um..."poetry" from SI.

I bet it sounds a lot like Vanilla Ice if you read it with hip-hop in the background.
Dude, comparing me to ZANI? Thats just totally uncalled for, no one deserves that. ;) By the way, who's your favorite basketball team (so i can make fun of them to bust your balls)? :)

Dude, there's no doubt in my mind that he would. They wouldn't even have to be on the court at the same time. Oh, but imagine if they were....

aw hell, i wouldnt even care if they lost every game 125-0. just seeing the two of em in short shorts and high socks slapping each other's rear ends and chestslamming would be enough.
ok, time to take a cold shower.

On the court, hell i wouldn't even put them on the bench. I'd just run them a bit in practice till they worked up a sweat, make 'em do some jumping jacks, then send them straight to the showers. ;)

Well, that'd be awfully selfish of you. I mean, damn, there's gotta be at least 15,000 other guys in the arena, not to mention everyone watching at home.

Whoever's playing Duke. :)
Actually, UNC's my favorite. I got a Master's degree there, plus back in the early/mid 80s I liked Jordan, Worthy, Perkins, Daugherty, etc.

Yeah, screw them. It would definitely be a closed door practice. ;)

I've always had a soft spot for LSU, ever since Chris Jackson played there. That guy was awesome in college. I even thought about going to school there... briefly.

That was insane! The one before that looked like a goaltend though.

Yeah, i remember my buddy telling me about him, and the first time i watched him on TV he dropped about 50 on Georgetown, I was amazed. He would just grab the ball, dribble it up court and jack up a shot from way outside the three point line. And they kept going in. That guy was amazing.

I'm glad Florida won tonight, Billy Donovan's done a great job with that program. He was a damn good college point guard himself, too.
