According to Grant Wahl [R] (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/soccer/us/news/2003/02/08/usa_argentina/) (see comments in text box), The Bruce may call Cher up for Wednesday's match.

I doubt he comes, even if it's an international fixture date. Hannover is in a fight to stay in the Bundesliga.

Cherundolo is out for next weekend's match against Cottbus with his fifth yellow card in the Bundesliga, a one match suspension.

Hannover still might drop him for awhile if he comes to play.......any insight into their thinking?

He's far and away their #1 right back. They don't have much alternative to him at the position. If Arena if bringing him back for this match, he likely got the ok with Rangnick and the Hannover brass--no reason to make waves with them by pulling him back without their ok.

You da Yanks Abroad man Buff. I wonder if Cherundolo's stint at the highest level of German football has helped out his game any? Definitely couldn't hurt it.
