US MNT Jersey Numbers

Ok everyone...probably a dumb question but I've looked everywere and still can't find out...
What's the deal with Donovon's number? Is it 21 or 10? Seems like it was 21 and now he's made the move to 10. Only wondering because I'm ordering a new jersey for the WC and want to get the right one.

Players choose their number based on the amount of caps they have. Reyna wears 10 when he's around, so Donovan will probably end up with 21 again.

Yeah I suggest that you get #21 for Donovan... same with Beasley who wears #7 but wears #17 when Lewis is around

Or you could do what I did. I simply ordered a new USMNT jersey with the number 10 on it, no name. The way I see it the players will come and go but we will always have a number 10.

the worse thing you can do is order a national team jersey with a name on the back as players come in and out of form and are often left out for some competitions. Also, many players, such as Donovan, go back and forth between the #10 and another number. My advice is get a jersey with a #10 but not name.

Just order 23 jerseys with each number and with the name you want.;) Just pick a game you liked and order the number he was wearing. I like the jerseys with the past National Team player’s names on them.
