Seeing as St. Patty's day is literally just around the corner I thought I'd start up a thread about the good old drink. What is your favorite beer, or alcoholic beverage for that matter?

Mine would have to be Stella. It's the perfect beer. Molson Canadian is the perfect average beer. And Coors Light is probably the beer I hate the most along with Lakeport Honey Lager (if you've ever had it then you'll understand what I'm talking about). So list your favorite, and your worst beer. Oh, and Happy St. Patrick's Day :D!

I don't mind Guinness. It's a frigging meal replacement though.

Bodington's is good.
The best (I've had, in America) is Honey Brown Ale. Damn its good.

Coors is great for golfing and fishing bestbecks, don't diss it. There is no better beer for straight partying. Maybe the Beast.

Not really an aficionado myself, but I go for Stella, Sam Adams, and Leinenkugel.

I'm gunna have to disagree with you on the fact that its the best straight partying beer. IMO that label has to go to Molson Canadian. Coors is a bit to weak for me.

Stella is overrated. My friend pumped it up so much, and when I tasted it, it tasted like any other lager with a slight hop flavor. Like a weak Kronenbourg.

Coors owns Molson.

I know, but it doesn't mean Molson Canadian has adapted the Coors taste.

Kronenbourg.

Another good one... Kavster introduced us to it in England.

I forgot to give a nod to Heineken. Thats a fair tasting beer as well.

If I was forced to drink beer, I'd drink Grolsch.

I used to love to drink margaritas, pinot noir, pink champagne or tequila shots. Not at the same time, mind you.

Erdinger, hands down. Don't mind Miller or the odd Guinness (only in Ireland) either, though.

Have you had the Guiness here in America? Is it a lot different?

Any of the Samuel Adams' Seasonal Brews (Spring and Summer Ales, Oktoberfest, Winter LAger).

Had a pint in Lucky's. It's not THAT much worse, but something just doesn't sit right after it (I seem to remember a weird bite afterwards that I've never noticed in it over here).

I used to like Stella...then I went a while without having it, and when I tried it again, I thought it was awful.

Boddington's
Anchor Steam (made in San Francisco...don't know how widely available this is)
Czechvar
Pilsner Urquell
Negra Modelo
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Newcastle Brown (don't like the Barcodes, but those Geordies make a fine beer)
