Anybody here (besides SirManc, of course) fancy any German beers? I've had Warsteiner...it's pretty good.

Baltika is the favorite one.
Miller and Heineken also deserve a mention.

There's nothing wrong with haggis, chip shops (et al), deep-fried sweets/pizza and everything else. Seriously though, as we can easily get our food from Europe, it is vastly superior to your supersize fast food shit. :p

although England is pretty poor...

In no particular order:

Asahi

Another good one. Goes down extremely smooth, yet doesn't taste like crap. What won't those Japanese think of.

You're just jealous you can't hit up Wendy's 99cent menu at 1am after drinking all night long. :p :D

The funniest thing about this thread is that I got neg-repped by someone for the original post.

In all fairness, if we had figures for all the bear I have drank then wife beater would probably come out on top. That's how shameful some of my developmental years were. :o

And you're just jealous you don't live in NYC where you can get any type of food you ever heard of at 4 AM after you've been drinking all night....:D :D :D

Erdinger, hands down. Don't mind Miller or the odd Guinness (only in Ireland) either, though.

I love how in Ireland the bartender takes the time to pour the guinness and you ultimately end up with a shamrock in your head..

That's quality...:)
